Well then, ever since I opened this Georgetown Meowsa!, the M's have shown some life. it's now 4-3, bottom 6, bases loaded, 1 out. Whelp, Haniger just hit a sac fly to tie it. GOMs!

 

Its kind of like the indica/sativa of hops.

Tired Hands DDH Grassman. Killer beer, celebrating getting my first Moderna shot. Some upper arm pain, but four Advil and this brew should do the trick. Cheers!

@woemad hit me hard today as part of the NBS/NBW BIF 13. Here's the mystery beer he sent me, and my blind review (yes, I am enjoying this after dinner):


Mystery/Blind review:

This beer pours a nice dark brown color. There's a 2 finger tan head. The head retention is pretty good, and there's some pretty nice lacing on the glass - 4.25
The nose is somewhat minimal. I do get some slight, very slight, malt/biscuit aroma. Very light. I'm going to guess this is a milk stout of some kind 3.75
Taste - There's a creamy flavor going on here, so I guessing there's lactose in this beer. A nutty flavor is something else I think I'm getting. 4
Body is creamy, it is decent, if it's what I think it is - a milk stout. I don't think it's a strong beer from the feeling, guessing around 5%, or so. - 3.75
I'm not sure what this is, but I think I like it. Like I said, I'm guessing milk stout as the style - overall 4

Home from work and figured I should try this one to see if I want more...

It's pretty good. Tastes like an imperial black IPA more than a barleywine to me, but I'm digging it. Nothing else like it on the shelves right now, so that's something. Cheers all!

Introducing my co-workers to this classic this week. For some of them, it will be their first tripel.

 

Ellicottville's Orange Chocolate Blonde Ale......Very nice beer, lots and lots of orange and chocolate flavors.

 

SwampHead Brewing Breaking Bad....brewed with a Pink Boots hop blend to honor international women's day. I'm good with the concept but for my taste buds it's not doing it....but when your daughters boyfriend is the brewer....you enjoy it.......

My experience with IPL's has been mixed, but this is totally positive. I could keep drinking this all night. I don't know whether this is a one time keg or harbinger of distribution to our state.
