We get a couple Cascade bottles around this way, but they're getting increasingly rare. The only ones that make it here are basically different fruited wild ales that seem to have the same base. I've heard nothing but good things, but the markup here is ridiculous. One of these days I'll make the splurge. I've also heard nothing but good things about deGarde as well. I really need to seek out both next time I'm out that way.
Happy anniversary! And a nice box on top of it! Chips straight from Idaho have to be fantastic, not to mention all those brews.
I'm new to the game as my four year anniversary is coming up at the end of this month. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of us when we got engaged. I proposed at midnight on 12/31/2015 on the Sky Bridge in Madison Square Garden while Phish played Auld Lang Syne on stage. In retrospect, I should have let my friends know that it was going to happen and to capture the moment, but I was too focused on the task at hand. I was touched that on the way out of the show, the usher in our section approached us and shook our hands and congratulated us.

I love seeing all the different beers being shared and reviewed here. I needed something strong after a long day, so one of the Revolution beers that @FBarber sent my way was the perfect choice. I went with Thundertaker Imperial Rye Stout aged in bourbon barrels. This was fantastic from beginning to end. Look was above average, smell was above average with lots of bourbon, but the taste was where the magic really happened. I got lots of barrel char in this to accompany the rye spice, deeply layered malts, and sweet bourbon finish. Smooth as silk with a touch of alcohol burn. Thanks so much, Frank! This was just what the doctor ordered tonight.

A couple of y'all have blown up my porch in the past with Revolution beers. It's not a bad trade-off when you lose a porch but gain a can from them.

As much as I’d like that to be the case, I’m considering the need to launch a GoFundMe page to allow me to store the beers I currently have.

    Things are reaching critical mass.

In all the hubaloo congratulating for the anniversary, the pile of beer that started the original message was overlooked a bit, but no more!
Sure, @colts9016 auspiciously bombed @WunderLlama on a celebrating sort of date but what a strike! There was even talk of justified manslaughter from the content! Wow!

Because every time I say “no mas” another box magically appears, I’m scared to type anything .....

@Victory_Sabre1973 with the South Dakota hit. I mentioned a couple of months back that South Dakota was one of two states of I’ve never enjoyed a beer ( I am NOT mentioning the other to preclude one of you magnificent maniacs from hitting me with a box of beers from that state), so he naturally busted up my porch with a box of SIX beers from SoDak.

I’m humbled beyond words. James, you are a beer nerd extraordinaire. Thanks SO MUCH for this magnificent selection of beers.

Now excuse me - I must go measure the yard to see just how much I can add on to the garage to hold another beer fridge.

PS: I’ve never had a gruit ale, so now I’ve got a style add AND a state add (and a beer add of course). This just keeps getting better and better.

I was obviously delirious with beer nerdery when I typed that - so delirious that I missed the style add as well (gruit).

    You are a mad man.

For the record , we lived happily ever after .

The only true murder was the decimation of the Teton valley bbq chips, alas , they are no more

Woke up to the dulcet sound of the street below my digs getting repairs via large and loud machines.
Apparently the city of Spokane is aware another box from @JayORear is due to drop on me anytime and they're trying, desperately, to mitigate the damage to the local infrastructure.
