    That's a fantastic IPA, IMHO.

To put it in terms @woemad can relate to; it is Bodhi, Pallet Jack, Bale Breaker level good. If it were made in the PNW, it would be in our top-ten regular IPAs.

I can't relate to Pallet Jack, either. But if it lives at the same altitude as Bodhizafa or Topcutter, it has my attention.

Oh, and another thing now that it's "out" that I'm actually involved in this round.... some unsuspecting gentleman in the Midwest had better watch their porch tomorrow.

Said the person who just sent a 39 pound box to demolish a porch.

    Not wrong, just ironic.

@2beerdogs hit me with a can of Elevated in my first BIF here last year, and it was indeed killer. I'd drink it regularly if I had access.
    An actual ghost participant?!?

    Great hit by @nc41 too!
That's fantastic! I have to say, he did a hell of a job with the video message. It was the perfect level of funny, cringeworthy, and entertaining. That sexy sax player is a class act!

Uh, we has rules in this thing. We allow ladies, but I'll be damned if there be any "gentlemen" participating in this debauchery. Can't have it, wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

All, apologies for telling you of the box @Mbgreg sent and then nothing. The day took an unexpected turn. But there will be a full write up in the morning, and I will tell you now that the contents of that box were flat out awesome! I took several pictures so it will likely be a long post.
Maybe by then we’ll have found our coffee grinder...

Enjoying this Sorta Mostly Dead DDH West Coast IPA by North Park that @Dimidiata sent my way. A blend of Mosaic, Citra, and Strata is something that I could drink in almost every IPA. This has an attractively clear golden hue. The aroma was full of the berry notes that Mosaic is known for. There were more berry notes along with some nice pine and only a touch of malt upon drinking. A very nice bitter and crisp finish is making me drink it way too quickly. Lively carbonation and a medium body. This is the opposite end of the spectrum from what I drank before it and exactly what I needed. Fantastic beer. Thanks, Christine!

Flagstaff was a great little beer scene, when I past through a few years ago, there was some new stuff that was pretty good, but a few of the "flagships" had dropped off IMHO: Flagstaff Brewing and Beaver Street. And with the closing, years ago, of Mogollon, a star had fallen from the sky. Mother Road and Dark Skies were doing some decent stuff, but nothing stellar. And Lumberyard was so-so.
