I'm thinking they will all be a treat, but thanks for the info. The caps are indeed different, I'll look up their site and see if they specify.
    Thanks again!

As a homebrew and still bottle (mainly keg) a capper is great I use it for bombers all the time a week or so is kinda of max, but great for stouts and lower carb beer style.

I crack a taste on Friday, sat, and Sunday great way to enjoy solo .

    I use this

Everything arrived perfectly! They were all slumbering peacefully, it really was an impressive packing job. That syrup sounds awesome. I foresee a lot more waffles and pancakes being consumed in the near future. The cocktail idea is great, I'd have never come up with that on my own.

I'm sure I'll solo a few of them myself because, well, I enjoy some indulgence. The peak of that was soloing a bottle of Chocolate Rain last summer. Luckily though, one of my oldest friends recently started getting really into the craft scene. He goes out weekly to buy some locals, and really digs the big stouts. We've been planning to do some tastings in the near future. We both recently got our second doses of the vaccine, so I'm sure he'll reap some of the benefits of this haul as well. My wife is really excited for the saisons, so those will definitely be shared. I should buy one of those toppers to have extras around. They'd be good to travel with, too. @2beerdogs got me this great stopper from The Bruery in BIF #11 that works really well. The butterly wings just close around the lip of the bottle, and the white stopper has a spring behind it create a tight seal.

The problem is that if I'm really enjoying a bottle it has little hope of seeing another day. Thanks so much again! I may have to get into a mystery beer or two tonight.

Yay, that’s the capper I use, too. So great because lots of bottles have slightly different-sized openings. Great for wine, too.

Actually I think Bruery bottles are one of the few bottles the Westmark sealer won't work on, so that's good to have around. The lip on the Bruery bottles is really thick iirc.

Also, in case this wasn't obvious, Modern Times - Monster's Teeth aged in Quadruple Flowers barrels is aged in Four Roses barrels. MT always uses silly names for specific whiskey barrels due to copyright issues or something.

That's an OLD Old Rasputin; in fact ALL of those bottles are at least 4 years old.

All right, I gotta work through this stash of beers I’ve accumulated over the past two weeks. This is from @WunderLlama (and so is the glass) and is outstanding, IMHO.

Pours a hazy pineapple color with an off-white head that is very sticky. Exotic citrus aromas dominate the nose, and there’s an herbal component as well.

The taste is complex, with a surprising amount of pine, some passion fruit, ample pineapple, and that herbal component noted on the nose, as well as a subtle malt sweetness.

This is an exceptionally well balanced yet exotically flavorful NEIPA. Truly a pleasure to drink.

There should be numbers 8, 10, 12, on the caps.

I had just gotten finished fixing my friend's front step a couple of days ago, and then @woemad destroys it yet again.

Damn, Fred, you just killed it yet again. Several new breweries. An old friend in Deschutes, though I don't think I've had Abyss yet, just never gotten around to getting it. Hot sauce - hell yes. I love hot sauce.
I'm so happy here, happy beyond words. Thank you so much for this. I'll be cracking open the Abyss shortly. Also, something else thanks to @woemad.

Brought this to work at the liquor store to share. We were all damn impressed with it, and happy to have had the chance to try it. Thank you so much!!!

Yes, this Sunday (4/11/21) is the official share date. Speaking of sharing, how about another beer? This one is from @larryi86, a non-participant in this BIF that ninja’d me. I shall seek revenge at a later date, but for now, I’ll enjoy this world-class NEDIPA - Top 5 so far this year for me

PS: my “Top 5” is like 17 beers, so I’ve got that going for me.

What the heck, let’s do this live.

First things first - if you don’t like Citra hops, run from this beer like it’s carrying a hatchet and you’re a turkey the day before Thanksgiving.

But if you do like Citra hops, grab it and run like you’re stealing it. I love Citra hops, so I’m Carl Lewis right now.

As for the beer once it leaves the can, this checks all the hazy boxes, but the nose is so crammed with citrusy tropical fruit aromas, it’s a bit overwhelming - and then, there those same citrus notes are on the taste, only they’re amplified (RIPE TANGERINES!!!!!), yet balanced, with a nice bit of malt sweetness.

I feel like I could plow through a 6er of this with zero repercussions - and this beer is 8.5% ABV. How is that possible.

Just a magically magnificent Citra-hopped DIPA. Absolutely love it. Rated 4.59.

Glad it seems to have made it safe and sound. Right now I am meeting some friends for the birthday of one of said friends, but before the evening is out you will receive a tracking number for box number 3, which was launched moments ago.

That's why I cracked it - saw the date on the bottom of the can, figured I'd better tackle it before it faded as so many Citra-hopped beers do after 3 or 4 weeks (Zombie Dust, anyone?). No worries with this one - it held up PHENOMENALLY well. Like, no fade whatsoever. Thanks for sending this magnificent beer my way, Larry.
