I am trying the IOUNN3 tonight. I prefer to drink my stouts slightly chilled to 45-50 degrees. Any suggestions for this one?

DDH Grassman w/ Riwaka is back. Get it while you can. It is the best beer on the planet.

I’ve finally gotten to the bottom of this whole Christian Zellersfield/Paraguesa nonsense. Hit me up in the DMs for more.

Any idea how far in advance you can place a pre-order from the St. Oner's location? I'm probably going to stop by on my way back to NY from MD and would love to get Double Alien Church, but not sure the likelihood it'll still be there on Sunday.

No. The Fermentaria is still serving as their POS for beer, merch, soft beverages, etc.

Not positive but I think the general store might be a thing of the past - drove by the other day and it looked completely cleaned out and as if no one was renting it anymore

Picked up my cans today at the Ferm. I asked the guy at the window when the Ferm was reopening. He said probably the fall, since they have reset the floor to supply beer and to go food sales. He did say it’s likely the Brew Cafe would probably open sooner, but no dates. I didn’t ask about the Gen Store.

A giant nothingburger. No reply to my DM...my guess is that he found definitive proof that Jean is in fact THE Christian Zellersfield, of Future Rustic fame.

(“you mean to tell me Jean made a little side project to entice a bunch of FOMO-influenced beer nerds to buy some rare/pricey beers? Shocked, I tell you!”)

Feels like it's been a good while since some notable Tired Hands saison releases, doesn't it?... would be beautiful if that changed on "Saison Day," today.

Definitely. I only have one bottle of Ouriserva in my cellar. Looks like they released a bunch last May, so I am sure good things will come to those who wait.

How about the basic west coast style ipa? Forget what it’s called but it was delicious.

Stop the triple dry hopped with mocha, banana, fluffernutter nonsense jean!

haha, kidding kind of, but will they ever just released some of their basic beers again without all the sales pitch nonsense?

those beers are pretty fun to try but i agree with you. the fact is their traditional beers (Trendler series, helles other people, saisons, etc) are easily some of the best in region and it really proves that they’re not just a gimmicky one-trick pony brewery, IMO. i can’t say the same for a few of the “popular” breweries in the area (yeah, i’m looking @ you, imprint...had their pilsner, kolsch and festbier over the past several months...all of which were subpar and disappointing. though at least they’re trying I guess?).

it’s also pretty respectable that they consistently have a wide selection of beers to choose from...if you want regular beer they almost always have it and if you want weird stuff they almost always have that too.

Had my last Sticky Drippy Crystal's yesterday for Saison Day... Guess I'll be making the trek to Ardmore soon to restock... If not SDC, I'm sure they'll have something I want

I'd be happy to be able to order non-DDH versions of Punge, Oblivex, etc. The DDH versions have only occasionally been interesting, and almost never, to my palate, an improvement.
