I know what you are saying. I do hate when the canned date or even best drink date are not identified on the bottles or even on the box. I do buy many beers, mostly IPAs, that I think are past their due dates. Word of advice from my experience, be careful buying a Build Your Own Six Pack. The single IPAs can be a year or so older. Not to demean Total Wine but been there.

Last beer of the evening ...

A couple of my favorite Fleetwood Mac tunes .. classic Christine McVie ... this tune sounds as fresh today as the first time I heard it.

    Classic Bob Welch ...

First time I ever heard this song, I was standing about 6 feet away from Jeff Beck at a club called the Comic Strip in Worcester Ma. Just freakin blew me away - and Jeff knew it, he had a big shit eating grin on his face afterwards. Just amazing ..

I routinely give job interviews to engineers...some of them try pretty hard to spin "experience" positively...I particularly like the idea of the above.

Most epic failure was when I had a dude flat out tell me he has trouble working with older Asian men. Warning flags all over the place from that statement...unmitigated by the fact that the other engineers on the team were all older Asian men. :grimacing:

That is the most random answer I have ever heard? Was there like a back story or something?

I enjoyed the post kid. No offense my friend but my days are numbered and I would rather be cremated. Have some trouble being underground forever something to do with bad tunnel shit experience.

All my crazy aside, how then hell are you doing my friend? Me, I am doing OK other than the Redskins making me crazy.

I saved the Sculpin the embarrassment of showing a drain pour but it happened, the 3 other cans will be used for target practice. Parish Bloom at a few weeks old, tasting awesome, and has a clear f'ing date in yellow on the brown bottle.

It's actually my favorite FM album. First time I ever heard it I was over in Thailand stoned out of my mind on some Buddha grass (Thai sticks). I was walking through this small town Ban-Chan (sp?) and I heard Future Games wafting through the streets from someones bungalow.

I went up and knocked on the door (turned out to be another GI of course) and asked him what he was listening to and he said a new album by Fleetwood Mac. Been in love with the album ever since - I just love the dreamy feel to the album, just outstanding. Track 3 is the only tune I don't particularly like. Just a great album and some really melodic playing.

If you're talking Track 3 "What A Shame", I like that one.

"Morning Rain" and "Future Games" are the two standout tracks for me. I get what you're saying about the overall dreamy quality to the album. What A Shame is a bit of a heavier, blues rock tune, perhaps more inline with earlier Fleetwood Mac. I really like Christine McVie's earthy female vocals, too...
