A little disappointed at the price point considering the other barleywines were a lot cheaper. I'd love to try it though.

Interestingly I thought the full barrel Tree of Hope or w/e was about 1000 times better than the blended barleywine, but my experience on the stouts has been the opposite. Two best BA stouts I've had from them by far have been blends.

 

Tree of Hope was dope. I wasn't happy dropping 18 bucks on it, but I didn't regret it. Tree of Life Blended was great as well and a good value, but not as good. IF I was offered 3 bottles of Blended vs 1 of Hope, I would not hesitate in picking Hope. Drinking Brownie now and it is definitely a step up from the blended stuff. The Full barrel treatment from TH has not disappointed me thus far in terms of Barleywines and Stouts. The wild ale stuff is a different story. If they can get that dialed in, damn I may not need to take trips to Fox Farm or HF.

 

I still have a bottle of Spacetime Continuum -Coconut. It's really good. I don't see how it's only 30% barrel aged in the blend

 

I think coconut gives a sense of barrel because it is so strong and slick and accentuates barrel characteristics

 

Great point. Fresh KBS 2020 had a strong coconut flavor for me

 

Anybody tried Tempo, the new German pilsner? I'm glad to see some lagers in the lineup again.

Drinking one now; don’t like it all. The Huell Melon strawberry trait is too much for me. Malt is present but combined with the HM makes for a conflicting aroma/taste, personally.

 

Hearing One Stop in Beverly has a ton of TH on the shelves. Can it be true? Distribution has begun?

 

Unlikely. Probably someone buying and reselling.

 

Once I saw the addition of Huell Melon I became hesitant to purchase this if I decide to head up tomorrow.

Thanks. I was worried about that. At least Wanderer is a fantastic lager to add on to a case of IPAs.
