So as far as Minutae, is it just a non adjunct BA stout with I would imagine a killer mouthfeel?

 

Yeah fair to say that. It was my NYE beer and it fit the occasion.

 

It had good barrel, nice mouthful, and was overall pleasant. But it was just missing something from the equation in the flavor profile, leaving you searching for more and that "wow" effect. 4.5/5

 

B3 is a Handjee killer. (Mic drop)

Mine just says "entered". Did I win?

 

Mine says "entered" too but I got a payment receipt emailed from Phase 3.

 

I got the receipt and saw it still said "Entered" as well, but I just refreshed Oznr and it now says "Selected" and I received a notification from the app.

 

WELP I lost.

 

My entry didn't even say anything, it just disappeared. At least have the courtesy to tell me I'm a loser to my face!

 

Looks like Eunoia b3 bottle pours and Curvature b8 on tap for today's special treats.

 

My Oznr mojo has been on fire lately! Looks like I'm going to LZ this weekend for a bottle and Huntley for a bunch of cans. Looks like a busy Saturday. Gotta try to go today also to try the Eunoia b3.

 

So I saw mention of a "cellar sale"... Wonder what that means?

 

There certainly could be more coming up, but they sold Curvature b6 bottles on Monday as part of the "cellar sale."

 

Stopped by today since they had some great stuff on tap.

B3 Eunoia was my first taste of the Eunoia series and honestly was a bit of a letdown. Certainly a nice beer with good barrel and the "toasted" part of the marshmallow came through but it lacked a strong vanilla presence and ultimately left me a bit underwhelmed.

I think this was my 3rd curvature and probably the best one I've had. Thought the flavors really shone through and enjoyed it immensely.

Also tried I'm a Bird and thought it was pretty unbalanced and borderline bad. I liked the strawberry and stout notes but there was a really strong almost burnt flavor that was pretty unappealing.

 

B3 is tasting phenomenal. Tons of marshmallow. Not getting much vanilla either but I’m not even sure if it was an ingredient.

Bird is unique. I dig it. Kinda nice to not be able to compare a beer to a similar beer I’ve had in the past.

Curv 8 is pretty good too. Glad I got a bottle. Wish they would experiment with other roasters though.
