DDH Cloud Curtain (NZL-60) from Mountains Walking. I guess this is what they expect, huh?

Had a Ransack The Universe but was doing something and didn’t post, so beer three is a very good NEIPA from Great Lakes Brewery in Toronto. Cheers. [IMG]

Home from running errands, and a quick shop at the grocery store, where I picked up a six of CCB’s “Guayabera” Citrus Pale Ale:

Canned 3/31/21. Heck yes! A beer I like and 18 days fresh (the Jai Alai was over 6 weeks old...typical...). It’s supposed to rain this hot afternoon; it’s overcast, 86°, quite breezy and 71% humidity...rain in the forecast for the next few days. What’s a boy to do? Well, I’ve got several chillers and fridges bursting at the seams with beer, and the Jasmine that covers the entirety of the backyard’s fence is in full fragrant bloom...time to enjoy the outdoors with the dogs. Cheers y’all!

I know it's not breakfast time, but it's always time for a Breakfast Stout.

More amazing apps. Breakfast of conquerors is a lot like CBS in feel and everything! Super silky and rich. Burger and nachos showed up too.

Suarez Family Crispy Little (Pale Wheat Ale).

Very unique take on the style, full of pithy, rindy, citrus notes and a pronounced bitterness. Funnily enough the brewery's notes on this beer state that they toned down the bitterring hops compared to the original brew. Absolutely delicious. I have loved every lager I have had from Suarez Family (no surprise) but I was disappointed by the one ale I had (Homespun Pale Ale). This one here shows that they also know how to brew ales.

Goggles? That's the only answer I'd respect. But peace... we all have different palates. I love you.

I'm not sure where I got my copy...I want to say Discogs but, if so I didn't add to the Discogs database like I nearly always do...anyway, 'One On One' is a nice vinyl set to have on hand...

Apparently the literal interpretation of the traditional Klingon toast is "May your blood scream". Klingons are a bunch of heathens too. The Vulcan toast of "live long and prosper" just seemed way too similar to something that civilized humans would say.

So... Cheers, and May your blood scream!

In the latest episode of Covidiots, my next door neighbours son just showed up in person to inform her that he had tested positive for Covid. I heard all this over the backyard fence. I suppose he’s now [IMG] on his way to personally inform all his friends as well. Sweet merciful crap!

Beer four is Zodiak from Omnipollo. Great IPA. Cheers.

I have never really trusted buying anything off of Discogs, I use it a lot for various things but not to purchase anything. The one time I did, the condition and edition was completely wrong from what the description said. If I can't pick it up and look for myself, I'm most likely not buying it. Unless I know I'm buying something brand new and sealed, which is usually from the artist or label specifically.

The Whole Cigar, a BBA Imperial Stout from Cigar City Brewing. I received it from @Roguer as a "mystery beer" in the NBS BIF and reviewed it blind on the NBW thread (it was hidden by the wrapper with the ominous warning "Peninsular Manslaughter"). This is phenomenal with lots of dark chocolate, coffee, cigar smoke, toffee, and some dark fruit thrown in (which I love). A wonderful Stout!
