I still don't understand why this is a bad look. Did something happen recently with Britney Spears?

 

she has serious mental health issues that have come out as of late, and apparently her family and father control her and all her assets. there was a save Brittany Spears movement recently because all signs point to abuse.

if you check some of her social media its clear she has issues. some people have said shes signaling for help in a few of them.

this has been building over the last few months. my wife has mentioned it a few times, there has been one or two documentaries released about it or releasing soon.

 

Maybe I'm seeing things after my second 5Gates injection but did the original art contain her image?

If so, it appears to have been removed.

Maybe I'm simultaneously too and not enough plugged in. This has been around for a long time and I hadn't heard anything about new developments. I guess I can see why some people are upset

 

I read the IG post to my wife last night in an honest attempt to see if I was just reading too much into this, and before I gave my opinion on it, she jumped to "how stupid are they?!?"

 

You guys have really scrapped the bottom of the barrel on what to complain about on here. Where's the protests over literally every other Mikerphone beer that is named after a problematic person or band or song?

 

Exactly - the guy likes music and names his beers after music. There are a ton of popular musical artists who have serious problems, and a ton of songs about problematic things. The one time he actually put out a beer name I found problematic (the sundae one), he changed it as soon as he realized.

If it was anyone other than Mikerphone doing this, it wouldn't raise an eyebrow IMO. Find me a song more problematic than "Brown Sugar" - and yet Lagunitas doesn't get any criticism here.

 

[Looks up lyrics to Brown Sugar] WTF? Wow, just wow. I really thought I'd be able to look up some very non-mainstream song that's "more problematic" but nope, I'm really not sure I could find something worse than that.

Italians have BEEN IN THE NEWS lately. And I think Mikerphone is trying to capitalize on it.

 

Why do you have high hopes for a Mikerphone lager?
