Personally, not a lot of interest in watching other people drink and narrate the experience.

I have some experience putting together content like this: where you're absolutely trying to promote the product/brand, but in a tasteful and interesting way. The key is to be honest, generous, and to focus on the story.

So, for example, let's say it's back in January when Creme Bruelay came out. That was a colab, so get the 3 Sons folks on the call and just tell stories about the process: how did it come about? How did you decide what to make? What element did each side bring to the table? Maybe Bruery person shares what it is about 3 Sons beers they wanted to capture, and vice versa - maybe share a specific beer the other made that inspired them.

You could follow the same model with Offshoot's next wet hop beer and bring on your hop sourcer, talk about Crosby Farms (or whoever), how working with wet hop is different from dried, etc.

Same again with the next Napa colab, grape sourcing, etc.

Bruery puts a lot of time, thought, and art into their beers. I really respected Jeremey's comment about how basically pastry stouts aren't what gets him up in the morning, but they make customers happy. That's the kind of honesty that makes you want to hear whatever comes next, because you know you're getting the real deal. Now give me the story behind what does inspire him and the others.

Been a quiet week here. Happy Friday. My last Sticky Chunk is still tasting pretty great!

Question: Wanting to do a horizontal and confirm if it's the same base beer that's in BT2020, the new BT2021 box, and the 2020 Rum BA BT?

It’s been killing me as a Reserve member visiting the tasting room and seeing those vanilla villain bottles just sitting on a barrel... taunting me.....

Vanilla Villain is an excellent beer. What causes vanilla stouts to be marshmallow vanilla bombs though? This beer isn't that for me... I still really enjoy this beer.

Dentelle is delightful. I mean, it tastes like Anniversary, so no real surprises there if you already love the beer:wink:

I'd say it's noticeably smooth and not hot, although a bit of ethanol is creeping in with the ABV sliding up to 17.9%(!)

In general I prefer Anniversary with some age on it, but when a vintage isn't too harsh it's nice having a more carbonated fresh batch like this for some variety.

Well, it finally happened. I broke my Reserve glass this morning while washing it. Does anyone have any extra or one they just want to get rid of?

It's the old style yellow logo. I'd also go for a Hoarders glass of the same vintage if possible.

Sorry, disregard. I was RS in 2017 and could have sworn I had a member tulip from that year. Either I'm wrong, or I also lost/broke mine, because I can't find it anywhere.

I don’t see Vanilla Villian on beeradvocate. Can someone confirm that or is there some component to the name I’m missing when searching?
    Thanks.
