Quick update. We went to Iron Goat on Sunday and had a great time. My wife LOVED the goat bowl she had for dinner, and I was impressed with the pizza (got the fig and blue cheese and the IGB). Beer wise, the pils was quite good and I was so happy to see the "Richard" troll crusher was still on tap (it was a very yummy ba impy stout). The only fly in the ointment was the BA uncle Bob Porter. It was OK, but was by far the least impressive beer I had at IG. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation. IG is a great place and one I would visit any time I'm in Spokane.

Swing by Whistle Punk next time you’re in the area too. I’d love to buy you a beer

I'm the same way about the Bob's Your Uncle, at least the BA version. Glad you otherwise dug IG. And, yes, if passing back through Spokane, absolutely stop by Whistle Punk!

Thanks. Will put it on the list. Lot of places I would like to have visited, but just didn't have enough time. Appreciate all the recommendations though...

Got my second Pfizer shot Monday. Looking forward to a Spokane road trip. Love blue cheese on pizza so I will check out Iron Goat. Otherwise looking forward to Whistle Punk and revisiting Perry Street and wherever good WCIPAs are brewed there. Brick West?

How is Hop Chaos? I was way up north last weekend and spotted it. It was a taphouse before I remember.

Brick West does some WCIPAs, but I'd also check out Hidden Mother. Basically, they don't do hazies. At all.

They used to be Pints Alehouse. I rarely made it up there during the hours they were open, in part because I don't like to drive much when I'm drinking, and they're about a half hour north of me by car. They announced they were changing their name and would be shifting from being a bar to a brewery a couple months ago, but I'm not sure they have any beers yet. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have any north Spokane BAs who could shed some light on them.

Having my first LumberBeard. It's Hop Choppin' Version 3 with Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Citra. Bright and pleasant at 6.5%

Also, given our new geographical alignment, I'm a wee bit surprised @RaulMondesi hasn't piped in here yet. Does Club Raul not carry NW brews?

Club Raul loves NW brews (Heater Allen is my daddy). That being said, I could use more schooling on the beers up there. Anyway, I’ve been in bed after foot surgery, so I’m currently on the IL. Rawhide, baby.

Wait? I meant to post in the NW-WBAYDN thread. Sorry Spokane. But, since we're here, does Raul want a Fourth Corner box as a welcome gift?

    Heading up to Spokane tomorrow.

Plan is to hit Versalia Pizza for some happy hour slices and then Whistle Punk before checking in to my hotel. Iron Goat for dinner.

Tuesday is Perry Street and The Hidden Mother.

Wednesday check out and watch some Quebec Junior playoff hockey on my laptop during lunch somewhere before driving home with a stop at White Bluffs in Richland.

Nice itinerary! I've used up my drinking & dining out budget for now, and I'm pretty lousy company right now anyway due to some dental issues that don't look to be getting ameliorated for another couple of weeks, otherwise I'd meet up with you for a pint or two.

Dental you say? That's my business. Unfortunately, depending on the issue/doctor you're going to, most likely I can't help, but in the off chance that I can, shoot me a PM with who you're seeing and what issue you have.

I appreciate the sentiment and hope you are feeling better soon.

Got in earlier than happy hour at Versalia. Their house pale ale is brewed by Hidden Mother and I loved it. Looking forward to going to THM tomorrow. Went to South Perry Pizza for happy hour and they canceled it during Covid so the pint was on the house. Was hoping for some Perry Street on tap, but settled for Silver City Sonic Reign Pale out of Bremerton and that is my kind of Pale. Arch Bridge has this so I will revisit.

At Whistle Punk now. The Post Modern pale kicked just before I got in, but really digging the Fernhopper V4 IPA as I watch Chicoutimi take on Val D'Or.

The Flying Goat has Perry Street IPA and Brick West Brick by Brick. Republic Pi has Perry Street Ales for ALS IPA and Lumberbeard Keeping It Classic.

Might hit one of those over Iron Goat.
