Transient Practically Breakfast (Berliner with plum, blueberry, grape, maple syrup, lactose) at the source. Plenty of fruit with just a touch of maple. Tasty stuff.

Transient/Saint Errant Weller Barrel Aged No Cake (Imp Stout w/ cocoa nibs, vanilla, graham cracker, and cinnamon aged in Weller barrels for 16 months). Both of these breweries know their stouts well. All of the adjuncts are coming through with the cinnamon being a touch more prominent than the others. The cinnamon and charred oak/bourbon from the barrel balance the sweeter flavors out wonderfully. Wow!

It's seems like forever since I've been to a Bruins game.

 

One day off till next Saturday. I would call off tommorow it literally anything better to do. Took a walk to dollar tree and liquor store picked up some beer and movies. Get to go to my first soccer game since they still played in Bridgeview next week. 2 weeks till vacation it better come quick. Hopefully it isn't snowing lol.

Cherry Cheesecake from Barn Town

 

Two yards finished, beautiful weather. Now it's time to relax on the deck. Starting off with a beer I purposely bought for lawn work, Goose Island Lemonade Shandy. Listening to some jazz on the bluetooth speaker. Amazing how rich the sound is coming from a little $38 speaker. Perfect for jazz.

In my glass right now is Knife Fight in a Phone Booth by Tattered Flag. It's listed here as an AIPA, but everything about it says NEIPA to me. Admittedly, I am pretty far from being a NEIPA expert. It's murky, it tastes like pure fruit juice. The main notes are orange, grapefruit, mango & papaya. I mean, it's pretty good (I rated it 3.94), it just isn't what I was expecting. Which can be a good thing.
