Black Top is working its way into a regular slot in my 22 cubic inch beer cellar. Great stuff.

Snowshoe? Meh. Gimme Uff-da all day long. I wish that stuff was around this year. A fantastic bock.

Don't worry it will be back unlike Stone Soup which seems like me and 2 other people are the only ones that want that beer back.

Back 40 is solid but its definable no Uff-da but really I have no right to complain about New Glarus since we have all of it to ourselves here in WI. "Oh no I have to drink a different awesome beer then the other awesome one NG makes FML." it's not exactly a bad problem to have.

Ah, if only it were 2005. Uff-Da and Tail Wagger Barley Wine were around. $25 per case. Smoked Rye Bock was around and fresh. Earlier in the year you could still get a mixed 4-pack of Unplugged's that went back as far as the Triple.

I'll need to make a drive to Hudson soon. Coffee Stout is back too.

the smoked rye isn't bad with some age on it but it's too smokey for me still it's like eating a piece of ham lol. I bought a 4 pack of Abt at discount but got screwed out of a brew because they mixed up all the 4 packs some how and they didn't have any more so I had three and a year old barley wine. which was pretty lame they finally put the 4 packs out again and I only get three lol.

Smoked Rye or Smoked Rye Bock? They are pretty different, IMO. Closest beer I've had to it (SMB) is Jester King's Gotlandsricka, which I would highly recommend.

I am most excited for the scotch ale, but was really hoping they were going to bring back the illegal iced barleywine, i really want to drink that again now that i have more bottles under my belt, it was tasty.

Oh no it was smoked rye I've never had the bock version. I just found out about Jester King need a way to get it though it doesn't get distributed to WI I'm pretty sure.

Yeah the Coffee Stout's been out for the past week or so. Been seeing it when I've been at the grocery stores. I have plenty of beer in my fridge (plus I'm brewing a coffee stout atm) so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I agree Back 40 has nothing on Uff-da. I have no idea why they would stop brewing it, it was my favorite of theres. Now Black Top, I have no idea how anyone could like it. All the floral hops equal drain pour for me. It was bottom 5 of all beers Ive ever drank.

I always want to like the coffee stout, but its yet another coffee stout that if it didnt say 'coffee' on the label, you would never know that any was added. Even as just a plain stout, I think its just okay.

Now the fact Black Top is year round, that is some good news!

Black Top is moving up to be one of my favs from them. Can't wait for the Scotch ale. It's one of my favorite styles.

They should drop Two Women and put Hometown Blond as a year round offering. That beer is fantastic. Everything the RnD Two Women was and more.
