There was also a post recently about coffee tasting with Dark Matter. So maybe July 16th is VSOJ and Supermassive? If so, I may just have found heaven on Earth.

What's your point? You need to get as much as you can for yourself? Corner the market for trading?

 

I hope they never go back to lines since the online ordering/curbside pickup is so much easier/convenient.

 

I think he may be reflecting back on Rev allowing proxies for DBVSOD and a lot of us locals that support them year round being shut out because so many others out of state are only looking for a few certain releases out of the year. At least that’s how I took it. I too, am all for no proxies.

I will be (pleasantly) shocked if this VSOJ release (1) has a greater than one 4-pack limit or (2) is distro-ed. Assuming that's right, and if proxies aren't allowed as I'm advocating, how would we hoard it?

 

I didn't realize I deserve Tree House BA stouts more than others since I spend thousands of dollars there every year. When they release a BA beer it's typically one 12 oz bottle per release. I don't deserve it more than you do and if I miss out so be it. VSOJ will be at least four cans per person. It also seems a bit hypocritical that you search for proxies elsewhere but don't want them where you shop.

 

I'd also like to take you up on your offer of proxying for me for that free box of beer.

 

Proxies can also allow for extra hoarding locally especially if you have a significant other, grandma, grandpa, child, dog, chicken, goldfish, etc. It's not necessarily about outsiders. I don't really care about proxies one way or the other because I'm in fight club but I will say it's allowed my best friend in Pennsylvania to enjoy and become a huge fan of Rev Deep Woods beers and share with his friends there. Proxies can work both ways.

 

You ...can't be serious right? Of course you deserve their more limited releases than some other schmo with a bot scooping up multiple orders. You've supported them more than someone across the country trying to gain some 'gram clout.

I think the ship has sailed on gaining clout by "drinking" VSOJ on IG. Great brew, but c'mon. The vast majority of people looking to score some VSOJ know what they're in for and just want a little more to enjoy at home.

 

Never underestimate a ‘grammar and their insipid quest for views.

 

The same thing happened to me and I can say with confidence that it has made me a better person. My friends, maybe not so much...
