So your saying I should continue to hold the ‘18 cans that I still have?

Ok now. @Sabtos I thought your reading comprehension was better than this. Since you wanted to cherry pick what supports your argument I’ll include the text you skipped over.

I was simply stating that I personally don’t feel that Rev should offer proxies on the limited releases. This isn’t about SP or any other brewery. I’m local to Rev and I spend a good chunk of change there yearly between beers and food. So I’m not allowed to have an opinion on how they decide to hold their releases? Maybe they can go back to having lines and none of you schmucks will get any.

Fine. Here's the thing, when it comes to my locals, I tend to look forward to enjoying new releases on draft. Granted, with the pandemic, things have gotten difficult in that regard, and I also don't live around much tradeworthy hype, but I don't think you're going to have that much difficulty scoring yourself some VSOJ. Feel free to call me out if I turn out to be wrong.

You're confusing things. I don't think anyone thinks there's anything wrong with using a proxy if they are allowed. People are saying it's better for the brewery to not allow proxies.

In other words, it's on the brewery, not on you.

If VSOJ improves as much between b1 and b2 as Mineshaft Gap did, I'm probably going to have to cash in my 401k early.

You’re 100% on the money with that. I prefer to stop in and grab a few drafts and some food and socialize but with everything happening the past year and some months that wasn’t a possibility. I wasn’t saying no proxies so I can hoard it for myself. I’m perfectly fine with a 4-pack and call it a day. Just saying help out the locals that have been supporting them throughout the pandemic. /rant

LOL! But,You have to go back one page - you missed it earlier - we’ve already seen b1 and b2.

Marty Scott confirmed on Twitter just now that this new release will be BATCH 3!!

This gif ended up being more spot on than you probably anticipated here.

On an actual serious note, good stuff from you the other day. I wasn't able to participate in this fundraiser, but kudos to everyone who did.

I did miss that, and I stand corrected! Too bad though. Batch 3 is usually the worst one. Godfather b3 is a perfect example.

That's awesome. Every CT machine should be made to look like it belongs in an art museum.

I was picking up VSOJ vibes from the latest Cuvee, so I'm glad there is another batch being released soon. Down to 2 cans of the last release.

Home Alone b3 didn't even have Macauley Culkin, Joe Pesci, or Daniel Stern!

Looks like On & On (cognac) is on tap at both the brewpub and taproom.

Are you comparing the latest batch of Cuvee to VSOJ? I'm a Rev lover but I thought the latest Cuvee was pretty disappointing and lacked a lot of complexity. I felt that when I had a small pour after it was released and revisited it again with a larger pour and felt even less impressed.

Yep, had a small pour at the taproom. It's a nice WCIPA, definitely dry but good hop flavor. Very solid beer.

Not comparing the 2, just that to me I did taste some elements in the new cuvee that reminded me of VSOJ. Maybe I'm way off on that, or was really high when I drank the new cuvee so that clouded (heh) my judgement.
