It's humorous that this is coming from you. Especially since your member since date is Sept 19th 2012 (real OG in the craft beer game). Or is that when you created a new one after your previous account was banned?

Was just there (got there at 9:30) and can confirm, although I would categorize it as a shitton. Definitely will last through the lunch hour crowd for those stopping by after work and who knows, maybe into tomorrow. I'm guessing considering the price there aren't going to be a ton of repeat purchasers/mules.

I'm splitting my brick with two buddies...after tax comes out to $11 a bottle and $14 a glass. Not really that bad of a deal.

The question I'm wondering about is, are people really buying these to try them? or are they buying them because its rated #1 to trade for rare beers?

I'm guessing the latter and that the trade forum will be flooded with FT: Westy 12 for the next week.

I'm planning on splitting a brick with a friend because I haven't tried it before if I can make it to Castle Vav to pick one up. I'm going to assume most are planning on doing the same. Not sure when/if I'll be able to have another chance to try it.

I picked up a brick when they released in Belgium (happened to be there on vacay). Those glasses are NOT worth $14 per. Pretty low on the quality scale.

That is a bummer that they're not those beautiful regular ones. It looks like a pretty generic one with westy written with a gel marker.

i originally didn't go because i couldn't justify waiting in line overnight, but i had no idea there would be this damn many bricks. if someone can get there in time to get one and is willing to split, i'd be happy to split a brick with you.

I just can't blow an entire week's beer budget on one of these bricks. If only there were seven bottles!
