Will probably be the latter unless they are nice enough to allocate a certain amount to the public, similar to what the did several years ago when chocolate rain was sold. Would be nice if that were re-visited as well however, it's a slim chance and don't quite understand why it was a one off opportunity.

Here's a question for The Bruery:

Regarding the anniversary tickets, the following clause states:

    "What's Included
Your choice of 2 specially-brewed Anniversary flights*

Your choice of 2 full pours*"

No where was it mentioned on the tickets -where- you may select the flights you'd like. Additionally, two full pours of what? I can only speculate whatever is available for onsite consumption at the time unless the item kicks. Lastly, have you guys thought about the potential repercussions from the bad apples or so to speak who can can't hold their own? I get drinking responsibly comes hand in hand and you should pace yourself but on the other hand, rookies need not apply.

Thankfully it's not full force stout selections even though that would be great but thank goodness you're offering some not so high ABV monsters. looking forward to this.

You'll select your flight preferences during check-in. We're still working out the details, but we're thinking it will be table service so your beers will be delivered to you at your table.

Yes, full pours will most likely be from the Tasting Room tap list. We may have a few special things on tap in addition to that.

100% we realize this is a lot of beer and our beers are heavier than your average bear. We will have security plus our staff is pretty good at knowing when to cut people off. We're all about a good time, but a safe time too.

    See you there!

After going to a bunch of the events in the past, people fairly remain well behaved and that was with unlimited pours back then. The typical Bruery patron won't even be phased be 2 flights and 2 pours imo....

@SaisonSteve new allocations page on website looks nice, but I miss the ability to click into the product details page for each item from there. Is the intent to shop from the regular "beer" page and just use allocation page as a quantity reference?

I was wondering this myself, good to hear. Will we also select our meal choice at check-in?

PS - I vote for table service all the way, so I can just sit back and enjoy!

That's coming back... it was just an oversight with this update.

As a veteran of Bruery events, we are talking about adults here. No one wants to be "that guy". Admittedly, some people will over do it. But they are seated, with friends. And The Bruery team is use to dealing with this.

Just saying, be responsible, if this out of your league, than pace yourself, If your guests are out of their league, than guide them. You don't have drink two flights and two pours. Dumping beer is OK. And you can drink water and eat food, so do so.

I did assume that the two pours where from the flight list, as opposed to the tasting room line up.

Again, calling myself out for assuming.

I do hope the tasting room line up is special.

Exactly! I assumed the same thing and that's why I was trying to clarify the credit stuff. Because it's one thing if I assume for myself but I have 5 other people I have to explain this to

@iLoveDonuts Looking at label previews for Liberty Stoutwich and Sorry Not Sorry, looks like the first has peanut flour and latter has peanuts.

Is that accurate, and if so what is the brewing strategy behind using one vs the other?

I was bummed there wasn't any Birnesap in the archive sale... But looks like we're getting BirneSnap tomorrow so now I'm excited!

I have a similar "scrapbook" (actually, a huge Photoshop file) which includes all the labels I designed for The Bruery between 2013 and 2018.

I also have a parallel file which shows all the designs I did which they didn't pick. An excellent bizarro world collection of labels never chosen.

FWIW, The Bruery team picked the best option more often than not. They were in every way an excellent client, and I am grateful for the body of work we created together.

Weird, I did not think they were actually going to shut down the sale before the end of the month

Good thing I'm already flush with more high abv Bruery beers than a man has any business owning!!!

Interesting that 2econd is 1 bottle for HS Bruery only and 2 bottles for mix. I would've assumed it would be the other way around.

I think they like to incentivize toward mixed.

This was the main reason I chose Mixed. Furst was so damn good I chose my 2econd preferred option just for the 2econd included bottle.

Excited for 2econd, but seems like lately there has been a LOT of the chocolate banana stouts out there. Like there was a fire sale with the suppliers for banana adjuncts. BL, Casa Agria to name a few. Not to forget the Bruery’s own Liquicados.

Sorta takes away a lot of my excitement.
I have this other thought running through the back of my mind that every exclusive HS Bruery release for past 5+ years has been accompanied by a similar public or RS release. Sorry if sounds like HS elitest, but would like to one day have an exclusive beer that stands out and makes me feel like it’s a big deal to be HS. I would have to go back through the years to lay out examples, but PB&J Thirsday and Out of the Lunchbox is one that comes to mind. There have probably been 3-4 others. CRe was probably the first really exciting beer that stood on its own and we all know how that went due to misallocationing the bottles. Been a long time fanboy, but just haven’t seen that wow factor since CR or WC first came out.
