You do need to keep up your Treehouse_Erection status.

If you're going to talk about me, at least get the story straight!

The brewery was Common Roots, and it's in my hometown in New York State, not New Jersey. I never said it "must be an insurance job." I implied (mainly in jest, but it's the internet, so unless you put a little emoji, everyone takes you at face value) that it at least could be a possibility.

Why did I imply that it was at least a possibility? Perhaps just my general low opinion of the Trumpy, homophobic, misogynistic small-minded upstate NY a-holes that I grew up around. Was everybody like that? No, of course not. But I'm glad I left them behind.

What does that have to do with the people running Common Roots? Of course, nothing. I don't know them personally, so won't lump them into my general observations of people from my hometown in the 20th Century. Sad for them that they lost their business, glad for them that they got it back. My apologies to them, although I'm sure they don't give a rats azz about some guy running his mouth on a message board.

I don’t think any treehouse beers could be considered dank. I would consider their beers, juicy, hoppy, aromatic, and extremely drinkable. Alchemist on the other hand, make some extremely dank beers.

I will stand by my post earlier saying I found bright Nelson to be quite dank and delicious last I had it in 2019

Bright is probably about as dank as TH gets. Love the irony.

OG bright and Bright w/simcoe were dank. Don’t see them much these days.

They were quasi-transparent. Can't have that in an IPA these days

What a drop today... too much to choose from. Looks like you can get 4-packs of green, haze and julius. others like JM are in 2 or 4-pack options. Don’t remember seeing that, but I haven’t ordered in forever

not sure where you're seeing that. I did my first trip to TH in over 2 years yesterday and the only way to get JM was in the big mixed cases.

I'm starting to come around to the idea that galaxy hops are just in rough shape currently, because I did not enjoy the Citra+Galaxy JJJjjjuice Project. Very musty flavor.

The Super Typhoon, up there as one of their best beers imo, was outstanding, however.

Looking forward to digging into their lagers this weekend.

Honestly there are a good amount of TH beers significantly better than JM. If you're there when they have it, get it, but I'd take Super Sap, Ssssapp, Green, Very Green, I Have Promises to Keep and East Hill all over it no questions asked.

Of the beers you listed, I’d say only VG and Super Sap are in the same league as JM. But to each their own.

Yeah, promises to keep and east hill are a hard pass from me. Same with the Treat series... must be a genetic disability but i taste nothing when I drink those except yeast

Agree on Treat, first time having it a few years back I drank half a can and immediately sought to give away my other cans.

Treat is middle of the road for me, but Promises to Keep is exceptional imo. I've enjoyed East Hill a lot, too, but I'm higher on their APAs than most.
