BTW, I noticed a significant difference in bottle fill levels on just these 4 bottles. Hard to tell exactly from this picture (angle is looking upward a little) but a solid inch or more difference in fill between some bottles. I'd really like to see a little more consistency on this.

Hand Bottled. It's going to happen a lot...

I know, so I end up trying to sort through the case to find the "most full" bottles. :stuck_out_tongue:

Look at these 4 I posted earlier. They're all completely different, lol. This is just the nature of hand-filling though.

I like bottling my homebrew which is only 25-55 bottles at a time but it's gotta be a ************ to bottle 2000+

We'd like to see our fills be more consistent as well. However, until we can purchase an automated bottling machine, we don't see this happening. However, please know that 750ml of beer in our bottles actually looks a little low. You're getting 750ml of beer.

Thanks, Jeff. I'm not worried about being shorted - in fact I think its the opposite. Just gives me a chuckle when I see it. :grinning:

I haven't heard anything for the Clear Lake area. I have been trying to stay on top of it but there hasn't been anything.

That's how you know it's truly hand crafted beer. No two bottles are alike.

And I didn't drink Jester King for the longest time because I didn't like their labels (at least they're not as bad as Rogue). But the labels have gotten way better. I'm shallow, I know. But I like my beer the way I like my women. Pretty on the outside and full of alcohol on the inside. I also like head. In beers of course. (I hope my wife doesn't read this)

I will certainly give you "unique" but not "beautiful". I don't dislike the bottle art but I do understand what OrgasmicChemist is saying.
If you disagree with him, it's cool but calling his friends names is pretty lame. Why does a different opinion usually bring out the name calling on the site? A solid argument should be enough and would keep the discussion going in the right direction.

I personally love the bottle art but I guess that is because I fit the target demographic, Male 20-30.
I honestly don't see the problem with bringing one of these bottles to a dinner party, no matter how fancy the party is. It is about what is on the inside of the bottle not on the outside. If the people drinking the beer are true beer lovers I don't think they will care about the art. But, I come from a working middle class family so what do I know about fancy dinner parties for the social elite.

You were expecting constructive debate about how you think some beer labels are ugly? That's equivalent to going to a book forum and bitching about how you're self-conscious about what your friends will think when they see the cover of a book you're reading, then playing superior when everyone says the cover shouldn't matter that much and your friends are dicks if they judge you for your ugly book cover.
Really? "hoity toity closed-book" is an instance of name calling egregious enough to make note of? You're going to hate the rest of the Internet.

If you are drinking Gots at a dinner party, the label is the last thing that's going to put people off. The skull you are drinking it out of may raise some eyebrows...

You seem to have a wonderful grasp for the obvious since I did make note of it as well as post a comment about it.
    Good job sir!
To bad that supporting someone's opinion seems to draw such crap instead of a solid argument.

Sorry to waste your obviously valuable time. I'll start working on constructive arguments about beer labels now so this doesn't happen again.
