Looks good… how will such little parking work?? There’s definitely ‘more to come’ on that front

That shark sign gets me. Having surfed New England my whole life it’s eerie to have to think about them on the Cape. Don’t get whacked at Treehouse!

Pumped to visit even though I’m sure the traffic will be hell. But also curious to see how parking will eventually work as in reality, the general public will seek places that don’t involve shuttles, traffic, tickets, sign ups, honey dew, etch. Covid door to car and non crowded bars/breweries is becoming a distant shitty memory quickly.

Planning to go to Charlton tomorrow, shooting for a pickup around 11:30-12:30. Should I expect a shit show or not too bad?

As I noted earlier in this thread after my visit a few weeks ago, the location is not equipped to handle big crowds. There are maybe 100 parking spots onsite, and that might be generous. Not to mention you're driving through a residential neighborhood to get there. Outside of some kind of off-site parking lot and a shuttle, I would anticipate some kind of reservation system will have to be in place if/when they open for onsite pours.

The King is so fucking good.

I'm loving the BA stouts so far. They aren't dominated by bourbon like 99.9% of others like it.

Agree on The King... it def stands out among stouts I've had in the last year (many). It def doesn't "need" more barrel/bourbon presence, but Steadfast desperately does.

I went to the Sandwich location Wednesday. Drove out from Newport on the last day of vacation. The ordering process was easy. I ordered from my phone while the wife and I were touring the glass museum a mile away. Set my pickup time, and I found their process efficient.

Was reading about TH having to work with the locals to manage the traffic. For a Wednesday it was seamless. I don't know how that would work on a weekend, but they can restrict those time windows. I also loved that they are right on the beach and allowed for a quick view of Cape Cod Bay while there. Hoping they have good luck at the new space.
