Just dropping in to assure Simcoe-heads 1) ASE is available in BK taproom despite not being on the website and 2) it's super delicious. It's been too long since I've had Forever Simcoe but this feels very similar, like basically the same?

 

That's how the food is too so that's fitting.

 

heading into Brooklyn later today with a friend who's never been to OH..how busy have the Centre Street & Domino park taprooms been lately?

 

@Jlabs I tried to hit up Domino Park a few weeks ago and it was mobbed. That was a Saturday afternoon, so I wasn't surprised.

Yesterday evening around 5:30 I swung through Centre Street for a 4pk and it was busy but there were tables available. I just left there half an hour ago while there was a good crowd it was super chill. I think you're probably all good at the OG taproom. Maybe others can opine on DP crowd fluctuations better.

Had a 4oz of of the 4 EZ Payments, thought it was sweet but still tasted good. Probably about on par with their triples, which I still think are better than most.

EDIT: oh and while I was there they dropped cards on the table about a Weldwerks thing happening tomorrow? Listed maybe 8 beers (I'm not familiar with that brewery's offerings but the list looked interested and included at least one BA stout).

 

how's the Finger Lakes location? Anything that's must-know or must-try? May be headed that way in a few weeks.

 

The only time I couldn’t get a table immediately at Centre was the weekend they had the Citra hop flights special. Waited around 15 minutes that day.

2 out of my 3 attempts to go to domino park I was only able to get to go brews to drink in the park. Including last Saturday at around 2pm.

 

Western New Yorkers keep very quiet on these pages, it's all Brooklyn with a little DC.
