The Bruery (2021)

Pretty sure my time slot extends beyond the end of the party session...

 

I don’t think anyone has posted much on the donut beers. Drinking the caramel one and think it is pretty fantastic. The caramel and pecans blend well and it is overall a delicious beer. I would put it slightly above some of the other tasty pastries stouts that have been coming out in the $50.00 4-pack format. I will be rethinking my decision to only buy one box if the others are as good as this.

 

Since not much donut box talk…
I’ve almost finished 3 of the 4 so far. Probably finish the box tonight.

Blawesome was very nice - super similar to a bourbon cherry vanilla wheat wine I brewed here, so naturally it’s been my favorite so far. Lots of cherry and vanilla. Definitely pastry and donut, as advertised.

Caramel had a great mouthfeel. Nice caramel and pecans. Definitely ‘donut-y’, similar to most Bakery level offerings, Imo.

Drinking Crème now. Certainly my least favorite of the three, and borderline not wanting to finish the can. Lots of salt, and I’m getting a sweet, dry peanut butter profile for some reason that I just don’t care for personally.

Abuelitas is fucking outstanding. Tons of chocolate and the cinnamon is perfect. Delicious af. Fave of the box for me

Meh! As long as I get my two flights and two full pours, I’m happy!

 

BIN Max Big Blue Stacks as a hoarder and suggesting all other society do the same as to not allow any trickle down to the plebs. LOL

 

Assuming there are no delays in getting our first pours immediately after when we sit down, then it shouldn't be a problem. I may not get to let some of the pours warm in the glass a bit and really open up and be able to enjoy the full experience. Or, if the lines are long for food, I'll have to really watch the clock and manage my time well. Fingers crossed!

BirneSnap is fucking tremendous. Love that rich caramel pear and bourbon, rounded out by ginger. Fucking A+++ would sip again. (Ordered more since it’s still in allocations)
