How much MJK stock do you think they have on hand? Whether in barrels, kegs or getting ready for other blends? Considering how long it's been on draft at the Cellar, it seems like much more than we all initially assumed, which is kind of crazy considering the ABV. You don't often see any brewery aim for that kind of horsepower, but especially in larger volumes.

Is there a pattern to when SP posts releases for to-go bottles? Is IG the thing to follow? Any sense on coming releases in the next couple weeks?

Instagram is the best spot to follow. They’ve been posted on FB lately too.

Lately releases have been on Wednesday (which aligns with when curbside opens for the week) and been announced with the time in advance.

I'd imagine its done as for sitting in barrels. Thinking continuance #2 is the last release from these. The MJK available at the cellar are bottle pours not draft. Not sure if any kegs were ever made.

I'm as surprised as you how long its lasted. Thinking that will end soon.

Looks like storms this weekend, hopefully it let's up so we can use the patio.

Anyone know if they've been using the wait list? It was on their website but I'm not seeing it now.

It seems like the wait list wasn't necessary after those first few days. It may be more crowded without the patio this weekend but the rain will also probably keep some people away as well

I think your post is kind of confusing. Like OWK, MJK is a recipe as well as a specific beer that has been released. Continuance b2 is 100% MJK recipe single barrel aged and is 14%. TWCP Continuance is 100% MJK recipe double barrel aged and is 16%. MJK the beer itself is 20%. I’m guessing the original ABV of the MJK recipe is 12-13%, which makes it insane that the finished product of MJK the beer is 20%. The barrels used for all three rackings were probably hand selected by Willett and soaked with bourbon when they were filled.

I think he’s pretty clearly talking about the beer. Bottle pours have been available for a month.

SP's description of MJK is that it is not one recipe, but at least 3 thus far, so even the base is a blend.

I'm making an assumption, but that they have plenty left to blend as they see fit into other bottles only reinforces my original inquiry, as they can blend to their liking again and release a b2 if they so desired and felt it met the standard set by b1.

Where did you pull this out of? Barrel aging can sometimes see a small jump in ABV, but not always, and 7-8% would be absolutely shocking. I've seen no indication they weren't intentionally aiming for very high ABV in the brewing stages. Which again reinforces my awe at their production output on this. It brings back Bruery and Avery memories, which isn't a bad thing, but is also unique for this day and age, which has begun trending away from those higher horsepower releases.

None of what you said changes the fact that they have what seems like a ton of MJK stock relative to a lot of their other limited BA releases, especially considering the bum rush on the Cellar once they finally opened. I can't imagine they've been offering it on-site all this time just to completely sell out of it forever. They've always made it a point to reserve plenty of their limited releases for future on-site availability, or for special events and festivals.
