Back from a hit dog dinner at the Root Barrel restaurant. It's basically a big barrel that serves root beer and hot dogs. Good stuff. Now the whole family is reading.

 

Had the Flume DIPA from Battery Steele Brewing out of Portland ME today after work.

It was a wonderful hazy, citrusy, and hoppy IPA. Gotta love the double hopped ones and am so glad I’ve got another waiting in the wings here. Prolly one of my top ten! ❤️

 

Random Screws IPA from Twisted Bine Beer Co. in Mt. Joy, PA.

 

Yes, that is the first one[. Some great songs too. 21sr Century Schizoid Man still holds up and is great live

 

Poured into 13 oz tulip glass canned on 6/25/21. Pours a hazy yellow with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma is passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, cantaloupe, and apricot. 4.75

Taste follows passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, cantaloupe, and apricot wow is this one tasty. 4.75

Mouthfeel is above medium, soft rather creamy carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8% it is so balanced and easy drinking it is scary. 4.75

Overall I always expected this one to be really good and it is honestly near perfect. Highly recommend this one. 4.75

Wow!! That’s kinda funny because I’ve been listening to that same song by a band called Fuzz that is awesome Had no idea that it was a cover! I still love Fuzz, but it turns out the original is wayy more interesting and just plain better.

She loves new collars; I don’t know what it is. If I buy one and show her, she gets so fucking excited. Kind of odd.

But she marks everything like a male pup when we walk, because she learned that from our aunts dog when we lived with them while I was in school. Lol.

Double Dry Hopped Dream In Green

 

Spencer’s Trappist BBA imperial stout. It has a Belgian yeasty vibe to it per my palate, YMMV, but it’s a solid non-adjunct beer. This might be one to cellar for awhile.

 

I don’t know if it is just because Georgia, but I’ve never seen Kirklands beer here at our Costco.

 

Dogs have personalities…that’s probably why we like them…it would it be caninealities?
