Road Trip From Philly to Dallas and back

    Looks like I may be taking a road trip from Philly to Dallas. I would like to pick up some beer on the way home. Looks like I-30 to I-40 (thru Arkansas/Tennessee) to I-81 (VA/WV/MD/PA) is the route I would be taking.

    Are there any breweries along my route that I should hit for cans from Dallas to the AR border?


    I have another post in the South thread asking about AR, TN and VA.

    Right off the top of my head, I would recommend Wise Acre in Memphis if you’re going through there. Cool taproom in downtown Memphis with a solid tap list and pizzas made in house that are solid.

    The flight prices came back to normal so I am flying down tomorrow (7/6) and taking the redeye home on 7/8. Golfing and heading to the Rangers game tomorrow.

    I would check out any Total Wine or Specs that you come across for bottles/cans. False Idol and Turning Point are both putting out some solid options but are a little bit out of your way. You might be able to hit those up on the way to or from the ballpark though.
