Beer packages don't include an ingredients list, so ABInbev can list the "signature ingredients", but not necessarily include all the ingredients (possibly other fermentables or additional hop varieties?) Obviously I can't be sure, but they do seem to put extra effort into obscuring product details.

FWIW below is what is listed on Wikipedia:

    “Ingredients

According to Sinebrychoff, a Finnish company owned by the Carlsberg Group, Corona Extra contains barley malt, corn, hops, yeast, antioxidants (ascorbic acid), and propylene glycol alginate as a stabilizer.[7] Propylene glycol alginate is a synthetic, colorless, odorless, tasteless liquid that belongs to the same chemical class as alcohol.”

    Cheers!

The Canadians seem to be receptive to contract-brewed "foreign" brews. Guinness was made for years by Labatt, and a bunch of US labels are made in Canada now. Import duties might play a part, but I think they are minimal for US and Mexican products (NAFTA and, as sometimes styled by the Canadians, New Nafta, ).

Actually Malt, corn, yeast, and hops aren't ingredients, since they are not present in the finished products. Hop tea and fermentation products are present in the finished beer along with the other chemicals.

As a brewer I am well aware but as I am sure you are aware these items are typically listed using the terminology of "ingredients" by the brewing companies (e.g., https://www.tapintoyourbeer.com/guide-our-beers).

But please continue to tilt at windmills.

That's a very odd take. Kind of like saying that coffee beans aren't an ingredient in coffee.

Coffee bags usually say, Ingredients: Coffee.

What were you intending to illustrate with that link? The manufacturer's description claims Mexico is the country of origin.

Well, it also has Germany as country of origin. Either one claim is incorrect, or the item was manufactured in Mexico and the stock is located in Germany.

Looking it up online Aldi in the US distributor so as @steveh mentioned, I wouldn’t expect to find it elsewhere

Above you referred to Wernesgüner in green bottles. I drink that when the wife finds it, and said what? Went to the Aldi bag that the returnables collect in, and the bottles are brown.

Heh. Shows you how long it's been since I grabbed a six! And that's good to hear.

Somewhere in the Germany forum I posted a picture of a six-pack -- have to see if I can find it.

Yep. Brown bottles. And it's even in a thread about "skunky" Wernesgruner -- go figure.
