I'll agree that these things tend to be a double-edged sword. I love the option to buy, let's say, two double IPAs. I don't drink them often, but like, on occasion it's fun to give them a whirl. It would be a great option to keep for people like me (and vice versa for the hop heads who don't want to commit to more than a couple Helles or Smoked Lagers).

That said, it'd be dope to be able to grab four packs for a slightly discounted price -- you know, the way these things typically work. You buy singles for $4 each ... or you do a 4/$15. I typically argue that this makes a business more money.

Scheduled for my first post shutdown draft this afternoon. Outdoors at 2 with my buddy and kids. Fuck off, rain!

    Thanks @Xerlic
Pop up shower on the drive down but stayed dry for our 90 minute window. Hope to do it again soon. Nicest group of staff you’ll meet.

Did my first fox farm stop today! Due to the weather there was just terrible traffic on the way back from Virginia, so I ended up getting there right at close. I didn't want to be *that* guy, but the staff was all super nice and I got a pour and my pre-order no problem. The avalonia cherry was so incredibly silky smooth on tap. Definitely excited to take my time and do a real trip in the future but I just wanted to shout out the staff today!

Is fox farm serving the cottage from a side pull faucet? Saw some Untappd photos and a comment that seem to point to this. Can anyone confirm?

Dammit. Just got my daughter’s schedule for next weekend, looks like I’m screwed. My chances of getting there by 5 on Sunday are very slim. Oh well, gonna have to savor the cans I have left.

If you become a 'Trader', I'll proxy anything you need from FF or TH and send it your way with your label. Not a perfect situation, but it's better than nothing.

Swale is MY IPA! Wow is this good! Went super under the radar and I only got 2 cans since it was one of their older dates at about 6 weeks, but yo! This is what I was looking for! As far as a mash up of old school and new school, this is it! Tastes like one of the best batches of bissell brother substance I’ve ever had and much better than recent batches I’ve had over the last 2 years. For me has been the stand out hoppy beer from them ahead of burst, patch, tideline, dwell, and little brook.

All of those i mentioned I have definitely enjoyed but this on just stands out from the pack. Must be that Columbus really kicking this up a notch for me. I think I will seek out Columbus. Grimm dreamweapon is another one that helps me pinpoint this specific flavor I love.

That Grodziskie is amazing. The smoke factor was perfect and the flavor at 3.2% was unbelievable. Absolutely kicking myself for only getting 2 cans.

I still haven't opened any of the Grodz cans I got at the beginning of the month...on draft it was magnificent.

Very glad there seems to be more positive than negative reviews of Grodziskie (UT as well). I’ve actually struggled with my subsequent cans; hope I just need a break/reset from smoked beers.

    Welp, I did it again.

Anyone down to read ~4,000 words (with some dope photos) on Fox Farm can do so here. As always, thanks for reading.

Fantastic article ... Are the brewing/taproom building and the aging building pre-existing or did they build both (or maybe just improve both)? I've been there a bunch of times over the last 3 years and always wonder (but have never asked anyone).
