    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

    Generally clear, golden body; excellent carbonation; relatively thin yet persistent head, rich and creamy with some patches of foam sticky to the glass. Honey sweet nose. Light, delicate malt taste; slight to moderate hop bitterness; clean. Light body; a tad watery; an edge of dryness overall.

    Overall, this is a respectable helles. There is nothing truly outstanding about it but should satisfy your beer thirst when something lighter and easier on the palate is called for.

    Poured at 56° F; no dating info found on the can or label.

    Burial Brewing Blade & Sheath saison at the Looking Glass Creamery just outside Asheville. The saison was excellent and a great compliment to the excellent cheese board.

    Good day advocates! Ta Shanex for twisting off today's thread.
    A good amount of drumming last night, a strong 6.5 mile run today and now a new brew.
    Drekker King of the Thing. Very good indeed. I had the "Uh Oh" moment when I looked at the canning date of 12/16/20...Feck it. I'm goin' for it. This beauty poured perfectly, had some nice schtanky boo boo aroma and boom! It's excellent beer. I'm sure really fresh it is probably a bit more vibrant but I'm pretty happy with it. Mr. Lucky gets a good can that was miraculously stored properly.

    I stop by their Slippery Rock tap room once or twice a year on the way to camping trips for beer, lunch and growler fills. Buck Snort Stout, Paleo IPA and Double Vision IPA are my favorites from the past. Good pub food as well.

    I've had Buck Snort and Paleo. I wasn't wowed by either.

    I also saw you were in Bellefonte yesterday. I went to school at Penn State so I'm familiar with the area and don't live too far from there now. Did you get a chance to try anything from Axemann or any of the State College breweries?
