Where in that highlighted area does it give any time length? I can’t order the beer today, I have to wait until Wednesday when I’m in the middle of a 4-plus hour car ride with my family, which I’m sure getting a reservation for any specific time won’t be easy.

At this point, I don’t even care, I’m just gonna go to a store.

It also doesn't give you a parking spot #. How are you going to find out where to park

I don’t know I’ll look for the guy with the gigantic runway flags.

They have those right? I didn’t see that in the FAQs.

That's a shitty way to look at it, but it's a rainy Friday so I'll give you a pass

You don’t get to order until the day you intend to go. You can’t place an order until about an hour before they open each day. No offense. Not trying to pick a fight, honestly.

Unfortunately, the area is not conducive to traffic, so Treehouse has to be very strict about letting cars in and out. I take them at their word: you need to be there at the time of your pick-up reservation. I would consider myself lucky if I showed up an hour late and my order was still available. The website clearly says that they may cancel your order and issue you a refund if you miss your reservation.

As far as showing up an hour before a scheduled reservation and having a “negative experience” because they wouldn’t fill the order early as someone on this thread said a few days ago...I just can’t understand why that person would be surprised. They spell this stuff out on the website in no uncertain terms. You CANNOT just drop in early.

I haven’t ordered from this location yet—hell, I don’t think I’ve had Treehouse beer in about 3 years—but I know this spot in Sandwich reasonably well. I was actually shocked when I learned Sandwich approved a Treehouse location at all given the potential traffic nightmare. I assume Treehouse had to make all kinds of concessions to the locals in order for this place to exist at all. People seem to be upset that Treehouse wants to follow the guidelines that they have laid out pretty explicitly.

I know nothing about the area, this is my first time around there. But looking at the map of the area, knowing how popular TH is and just hearing about the traffic going into Cape Cod (where it looks like one way in, one way out) I was pretty surprised to hear there was a location there in the first place. I know a lot of the beach (ie people with money) communities around here play the NIMBY game so it is pretty surprising a major brewery was allowed to set shop up there.

It would be like putting an Other Half location in the Hamptons or Greenport for us. But, like you guys, no one drinks OH anymore either.

Damn this thread was dead for a while. All it took was someone asking a question about buying beer

I haven’t had Treehouse recently because I live 75 minutes away from Charleton. I like it. The beer is very good. It’s just, outside of Treehouse, there isn’t much to do around there. So I don’t go.

I like the Cape too, I just hate traffic, crowds, and lines, which happen to be the three things Treehouse and the Cape have very much in common. So I don’t go to the Cape very often.

Sorry to be a bother with another question. I looked all over the Sandwich menu and couldn't find anything about meat or cheese options. Freaking Treehouse. I guess I'll take whatever sandwich they give me.

They keep changing the can art for a lot of beers. Saturated in its 2nd or 3rd different label today

They're very good at changing the cans on the same beers.

I appreciate you asking these questions. Emailing TH only gets you an answer (maybe), but asking on a forum means that knowledge is shared with anybody else who reads it.

People who ask questions (especially dumb questions*) are the unsung heroes of the internet.

*not implying you asked a dumb question :stuck_out_tongue:

Whoever in here said Quadruple Shot: peanut butter is lacking on PB flavor is crazy. This is good but it didn’t need to be quadruple shot (way too thick and slightly boozy). Give me this in Double Shot and it’s a big big winner.
