I'm not really aware of a way to just report an issue aside from creating a thread in here, so if this is the wrong way to do it, please teach me the right way.

Anyway, this is a super minor issue, but I'd want to know about it if I owned the website, so here you go:
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/styles/80/

Some unrecognized characters are showing up in the description, as shown below.

What OS/Browser are you using? I’m looking at it on iPadOS 14.6 with Chrome 91.0.4472.80 and there is not the problem you show in your screen capture.

    Windows 10 (Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042)
Chrome: Version 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64-bit)

And I do not see it from Chrome or Safari on my iPhone. Huh.

If you're curious about the actual characters being rendered, here's a text copy and paste of the paragraph in my browser:

Porters of the late 1700's were quite strong compared to today’'s standards, easily surpassing 7 percent alcohol by volume. Some English brewers made a stronger, more robust version, to be shipped across the North Sea that they dubbed a Baltic Porter. In general, the style'’s dark brown color covered up cloudiness and the smoky, roasted brown malts and bitter tastes masked brewing imperfections. Historically, the addition of stale ale also lent a pleasant acidic flavor to the style, which made it quite popular. These issues were quite important given that most breweries at the time were getting away from pub brewing and opening up production facilities that could ship beer across the world.

Do you or do you not see the boxes in my post?

I still see them in my browser.

All of the style info was typed into a Google doc before being entered into the site when we updated Beer Style a couple of years ago. I can't see it on my end, but it looks like some odd special characters carried over and they're not playing well with your browser. I replaced them. Should be OK now. Thanks!

I see the boxes in Chrome and MS Edge but not Firefox (Win10).

On my Android phone, no issues with Firefox but Chrome still has the mystery boxes.

My Linux box has same results: Firefox is OK, Chromium has the mystery characters...

Viewing source code for the page still indicates two mystery characters by the apostrophes...

I cleared my cache, restarted my browser, and the boxes still show up. No idea if it takes time for such a change to propagate, so I'll report back if I still see them this evening or something.

Just to note, I see the glyphs on my Android phone with Chrome.

Isn't this usually an easy coding fix? (He speculated knowing full-well that his mind went blank when trying to learn coding)

OK. Should definitely be fixed now. It wasn't the apostrophes, but rather some bizarre characters next to them. I wasn't able to see it on Safari, but copying and pasting everything into a text editor revealed the issue.
