Other Half (2021)

Just came here to ask a simple question:

Where is City Slickers?

 

Right! It was promised when they released Cactus Palace, but that was the last we heard.

 

I feel like I was in the minority when i professed a strong liking of the double version of city slickers they did a few years back. I also feel like I will continue to be in the minority when I say it was better than the OG version they did afterwards. I have some feelings about city slickers. I’d love to see it again.

also, the last batch of Mylar (only had on tap) was so good. Anyone try this recent canned batch? I’m probably grabbing it today regardless but was curious.

also, shameless plug here. My Grateful Dead tribute band (Half Step) is playing at Mama Tried Friday at 7pm, just a few blocks from OH centre st. Come down if you’re into that sort of thing.

Guessing Other Half is starting an NYC street series similar to Trillium's, but more tongue-in-cheek.

 

I’m tempted to make a joke about a South Street beer sounding fishy. But I won’t.

It’s solid. Not quite as spectacular as last months return to peak form, but quite close to it.

Been off OH for awhile. Anyone have intel on latest batch of DDH Space Diamonds. Used to love that beer but fearful if it is still off what it used to be. Thanks in advance.

 

Canal st is a honeydew/melon bomb, haven’t tried mall.

 

I had a 4oz last week when I picked up Mylar. It’s not what it used to be but it’s still a great beer

Drinking DDH Oh…Forever for the first time — it’s fantastic.
Also picked up Mylar Bags and Canal Street.

 

will be in town this weekend, so if there are any must haves right now let me know. Thinking of stopping at the OG Taproom for one Sunday depending on timing, if anyone is interested on grabbing a pour!

 

Stopped by today and picked up a 4 of ACE canned 6/29/21. It’s awesome

also, my friend brought over a can of dream something tonight (forgot the actual name) Looked like an 80s-vibe can art. Nelson heavy and really good. Look for that one if it’s still available.

Small Side Project takeover in both NYC locations this Friday including BBT at Centre. Realllly glad I took this Friday off work.
