I think they’re now #1 in NJ, which I was not aware of until someone posted it in the Cape May thread. I enjoy both the IPA and the DIPA and great prices for both.

Most nights lately, I start with a Landshark because I worked outdoors with the heat and unbearable humidity and was dying of thirst. Being a lazy ass today (and most days), I sat indoors all day and watched TV. So Landshark took a back seat tonight.

 

The Dave Ellefson situation is so unfortunate. He grew up on a farm a few miles south of the farm my dad grew up on in southwestern Minnesota. Both are ordained Christian ministers. I bought my dad his autobiography, after a lifetime of my dad disapproving of my obsession with heavy metal. I am not going to tell him what happened.

 

Hoppin frog martine stout. This is an excellent beer which i only got to try due to the generosity of @Blogjackets . Hope everything is going well in your neck of the woods

You probably would’ve enjoyed being there this past Saturday, that type of music was blaring for most of the early afternoon we spent there. At one point, oddly, the playlist/streaming radio devolved to something like Carole King, but that was quickly remedied.

I’ll join you with an Adroit beer myself, even though you’ve likely moved on. This is a lighter ABV style (altbier), but shows they can do big, bold, flavored beers and some more traditional stuff as well. This was was one they contract brew in FL, it seems…
