the beer itself wasn't BA though. Just the maple syrup was barrel aged.

No idea how many packages were available but it was 4pp. I did 2 and immediately regretted not ordering more after it went through.

Where does the limit show up? Also, it looked like there was an issue with the package showing up on the beer page vs. the main page or something. It didn't show up for me until I sorted by 'newest first.' It did stick around, though, for like 20 minutes I think.

Seems like Morning Vibes is a $45 beer now (or it's $40 and CSV is up to $30).

After I checked out I went back to the page to see how many I could add and that's when I got the 4pp message

Maybe not packaged out, but I have definitely been less likely to order the stuff in stock knowing that it may likely be bundled with a bigger release down the road. I held off on Längst and Blueberry Flanders and wasn't sad to get them bundled later. Not passing any judgement on SP for how they're doing it--clearly it's working well for them.

It certainly won't always break like that, but I've been happy/lucky enough so far.

Credit to SP, that Nelson description sold me hard. Sounds like the perfect beer for the upcoming weather.

Anyone have any insight as to why they are only releasing only a couple bottles at open for some of the big stouts since they reopened? I remember before the pandemic that all these releases would stay on site for days or at least 1 whole day and allow people to get off work to try them. Now you can’t try these beers unless you are lucky and show up at open. Is there some rationale for this? Why not just have the bottles on-site until they run out?

The answer (to me at least) is that they want to spread them out over multiple days so they just have that allocated amount per day at opening. I suppose they could drop that "allocated amount" randomly during business hours but that' sounds more chaotic.
