I am taking a short break from mowing the lawn - it is hot (87 degrees) and humid. Not time for Oktoberfest beers (for me). I will be drinking a Victory Classic Lager when I am done.

Cheers to Oktoberfest beers when there is a 'nip' in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Jack's Abby but I generally don't like their maltier amber beers (Copper Legend, Red Tape, the recent Zwickel or the recent Polotmave). But they released a Festbier in May that I really liked that may still be available. It is a brewery-only release. The one can I have left was canned My 5, 2021. I don't see the cans available on their website but maybe they have it at the beerhall? Worth checking out if you are in the mood for a Festbier.

It's happening! Just grabbed Konstantin and Zero Gravity 4 packs today. Did a mixed 4 of Copper Legend, Sierra Nevada, Bunker, and Aeronaut Oktoberfests also.

Grabbed Weihenstephaner, Paulener Marzen, Hofbrau, and Broktoberfest this weekend.

The Weihenstephaner is amazing as always - so clean and crisp tasting. I *really* wish this was a year round beer. The Hofbrau has a more nutty/malty edge to it for a festbier but in a pleasant way. The Paulener has a coppery taste to it that I don't remember noticing previously. Probably just a palate thing since I can't imagine they don't have things absolutely dialed in at a brewery that size. Looking forward to finding their Wiesn again.

    Broktoberfest on deck for tonite!

Yes that one was awesome as was the Marzen Kellerbier that they released in March. Both were far superior to Copper Legend in my opinion. But my local has CL at half the price ($6/4 pack!!) compared to those two, so...

If anyone has a Hannaford near them that sells alcohol make sure to take a stroll through the beer section. Some things are really priced to move.

Naragansett Fest is one of my favorite football beers, and it's available basically everywhere.

Not local, but this year's Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest is very good. Have not seen any Zero Gravity yet, could be spotty distribution, as I'm not in the Burlington area. We have faint beginnings of fall color here in northern VT so I guess Oktoberfest at this time is legit.

For locals I have seen Copper Legend, Brocktoberfest, and Zero Gravity in the wild.

Really enjoyed a 12 pack of copper legend and a six pack of Hofrbau so far

I'm going Oktoberfest hunting today. I've sadly only consumed Weihenstephan's, Ayinger's, and Paulaner's Wiesn (or whatever they're calling these days).

Looking for Spaten, H-P, Hofbrau, Paulaner Marzen, Copper Legend, Zero Gravity, Sierra Nevada and whatever else I see that piques my interest.

Then of course I'll be drinking the shit out of Oktoberfest on tap at Olde Magoun's/Long Cross next month.

I've seen Konstantin & Zero Gravity around Watertown area a lot. CBC Belmont specifically has them both I know.

Snagged Hofbrau, Paulaner Marzen, Copper Legend, and Zero Gravity.

Saw Sierra Nevada but didn't get it yet, I had enough beer. Might pick up Brooklyn and Aeronaut's as well.

    Figured I'd plunk this here...

I noticed Five Horses in Davis has multiple imported Oktoberfests on deck...

    @Sheppard

Kinda disappointed Magoun's hasn't mentioned anything yet, and they haven't updated their tap list online since August 25th.

Crafted in Holliston had a nice display with quite a few New England fests as well international.

Olde Magoun’s tap list is up to date on Untappd as of today, but no Oktoberfests listed :-(

Did you notice if they have Queen City's? Been looking for that one and would rather drive to Holliston than CBC Newton

Well I guess the only good thing is that historically they'd kick off the season after Labor Day if I recall correctly, so we'll see...

That's odd, was actually planning to visit next Sunday for NFL opening day & enjoy some German festbiers. Hopefully will have it all sorted out by then.

I'm trying to recall if I had any at Olde Magoun's last year. I had a couple Oktoberfests at Long Cross, and at least Spaten at Five Horses.

I think I only visited Magoun's twice last fall, but I was able to sample Hofbrau, Weihenstephaner and Ayinger. The earliest I had was 9/8
