I must say, when I check the Canton order page and see Pickup for now (Ready in 185-190 minutes) I have to laugh. That's straight-up ridiculous.

I've gotta say, I love that they ship now. Work is a pain in the butt and getting out there from the south coast can be a pain with traffic.

I think this is auto-generated like those restaurants on Toast that say "order ready in 30-90 minutes" then I get an order ready text in 20 minutes. If you order before open you can go pretty much go anytime after opening. And I think if the order isn't pre-packed and ready, then they'll just take an extra minute on the spot to put it together. Not like they'll say you have to leave and come back...

Yeah I showed up well before my time slot the other day and they had no problem putting my order together.

Yes, everything, even my beloved DDH Sleeper, has no carb. Great if you're on a keto diet...

I generally understand this is the case, but they set the parameters for the wait time, not toasttab, and the day I was looking, they shut down the ordering at 4 when they were open until 7, after posting a 180 minute wait time. The order number was well under 250 by 3:30, they can easily handle a good bit more than that type of traffic in a day. In the old place, going by old receipts, I've been as high as #530 by 4:15. MAybe they are just keeping it light until they are open longer, whatever.

One thing I didn't mention was that I did throw actually in an order Tuesday but ended up not picking it up, because I wasn't looking to go early and possibly wait, and I didn't end up going after 6:30 as directed. Well, they charged me anyway. I just called them up and got the refund, but keep an eye on your CC statements if you don't end up picking up what you order.

How is it possible for a brewery of this caliber to have this issue. Or maybe they find it somehow better to not carbonate their beer? ha

Wait - big difference between no carb and no head retention.

Good point, don’t they usually go hand in hand? Recent Untapped pictures certainly seem like there is zero of both on most beers.

I haven't had Trillium hops in a long time but it's sharp carbonation with head that disappears almost instantly that I remember

Right, carbonation is there, they just don’t like head.

Carve some nucleation points to get some doable/get-by retention

Grabbed a can. Enjoyed the shit out of it and their take on it. Seems some of this is just fanbois who play the trillium isn’t cool bill.

Couldn’t find much of an issue with it. Carb’d well, hoppy and good.

I agree it was tasty, still had some hop burn on the back of the palate. I’d drink another can if I had one

Used to love Trill, but for the last year plus anything with a large amount of hops has zero head retention, is overly acidic and astringent. Those are legit flaws; gueuze and lambic shouldn't have better head retention than an IPA. Astringency isn't "dank grapefruit", it literally tastes like they're bittering with crushed asprin. Their beer has been garbage and the proof is in the barrels of beer produced; even with adding shipping within the state and to other states, Trilliums actual production numbers have declined over the last few years. For a hype factory with multiple locations and added points of distribution, you would think production would be trending up, not down.

I went to the Trillium Fort Point location for the first time over the weekend since it has turned into a restaurant and I was slightly disappointed. I think they are taking focus away from their beer and on to their food menu which hits the mark. When I go to a brewery, I am really looking for more finger foods/elevated bar fare. We ended up going there before our reservation at Row 34 down the road so it wasn't a huge deal but I wonder if they will expand the menu a little more.

Additionally, we sat upstairs which I am not sure if there is any difference in the menu from the upstairs seating to the downstairs seating.
