Finally got around to getting BDCS today. Went hiking Devil’s Den this morning and went to Rogers afterwards. Had BDCS ‘17 on tap.

 

How was the 17?

 

It was OK. Nothing special. Looks like I never had it fresh so can’t compare it that way. Have had a few better years.

 

None of the aged ones on draft ( or can ) I've tried have impressed me versus the vintage year release under six months old.

 

Looks like a few new beers dropping at Ozark tomorrow to include a hazy IPA. Most likely there

 

The The Piccolo Italian Lager was super drinkable out on the porch with the THermostat set to Hades. The All Day Snuggles 3X IPA lovely. They were selling it to go in glass, so I picked up another howler I didn't need ( my planning sucks these days )

 

FWIW Bentonville is canning their Space Goose Hazy IPA which I dig. First can seemed a little muted, but I think it will help shelf life by a mile.

 

Here's my review of Gotahold's Downhill Rider DIPA. Very good, but $ 18+ a 4pack ( pints )? I take issue with that.

Bentonville Hop Wrecker IPA out there now. First one didn't blow me away

 

Just purchased Gotahold's Bury the Hatchet New England IPA. Not worth $ 18 a 4 pack ( pints ) not even close
