Cork. Myrtleville/Fountainstown. I just stumbled onto this pic last night and about fell over!

 

I ran across this dusty bottle at a shop recently. It's 7 years old and I've never had it before until now, so I don't know how it compares to when it was fresh. It's pretty good, but it certainly is not making up for me not being able to buy Alesmith products in NC anymore.

 

Awesome. My first thought was that it was Ireland. Never been, though I am hoping to get there in the next two years. Get any good cask ale out there?

 

Had a nice sail on my Hobie cat this afternoon - and swim off the boat while anchored in 35 ft of water in the middle of the lake - nice....what else is there to do on the last Sunday of July, when it is 88 degrees?

Basically my regular Pils, and English Pale Ale fix in Houston. Trying to finish up Fernanda Melchor's Hurricane Season today (I think I can start and finish this one in a full day ha). Incredibly violent, vulgar, and can't put it down.

Before I finish my book, need to go and find a greasy burger...might report back with post for that

When it comes to beer, it’s better to taste marvelous that to look or feel marvelous.
