Nice! We picked up food from Big Daddy’s, which is a five minute walk down western ave.
I also had their Hefeweizen, which was delicious…didn’t snap a pic though.

I feel like cheating on VT drinking only MA beers tonight, but this is a really good one.

    This one is for @zid
Awesome lager, lots of crispy snap. Chris, can’t thank you enough for coming through today, it was a pleasure, we gotta do it again soon. Cheers, my friend.

This is honestly such a great beer. Such a great smelling beer. Unbelievably danky. This has grassy dank with a touch of malt down perfectly.

Did you move? I remember talking Schatzi's and Zeus with you at some point. Being local to Conclave now is nice!

Same goes for you. You're in MA now? You guys are making me really really want to hit up Notch.

Still cheating on VT beers, now with NH ones. Very unapologetic Czech pilsner from Schilling.

With the Brighton taproom, now if you are making a trip to Boston, getting to Notch is a must do. A little trickier with them only being in Salem in the past but this location is so much more accessible.

My second one from Kettlehead. This is a 9% DIPA (NE Obvi), that really hits the right notes except for a little astringency on the backend. All in all, pretty impressive first look at Kettlehead for me. Will definitely be on the lookout when I am in NH.

I made a trip to Suarez yesterday and picked up some Palatine Pils, Fine Line Kolsch, and then this, Cabana Pils. I can say with relative ease that this is my least favorite beer I've had from Suarez so far. It's not a bad beer at all, it's just kinda nothing? They say in the description of the beer that it is very dry, and they're not kidding with that. You get the lightest hit of a cracker note on your tongue and then it's gone.

I'm sure this would be a great beer on a scorchingly hot day, but today isn't that day.

Another lager thanks to @zid. I think you called this one Chris, kinda hoppy and citric. I’m not exactly sure what West Kill was going for, a strong Mountain lager(?), but it tastes more like a pale ale than a lager.

The weather turned out nicer than expected so we took a nice 3-mile walk to a local preserve and tired out this beast. Followed by a burger, onion rings and a root beer at All-American (which everyone on Long Island should know) and a Dairy Queen drumstick blizzard and that’s a pretty good Sunday afternoon.

So happy to have this back in the house again. Pound-for-pound, best American made German pilsner in my book.

Chugging along with one more lager before I switch to some IPAs. This is really well done as a pilsner. I don’t really believe the oak transferred over so much but as a straight up pils? Yes sir.

    Tree House, Bear, canned 7/8/21.

I’ve surprisingly only had this once before on draft at the Tree House/Row 34 beer dinner back in 2015.

No recollection to compare now. This opened with slight roast, smoke, licorice, and chocolate. Last few sips after a hour or so have brought forth more piney and hoppy notes.

Good Evening BAs! It's been a while since I've had a "Northeast" beer:

Genesee Cream Ale. It's been a few years, but it still tastes pretty good.
    Cheers!
