    Fat Head's IBUsive. I have no idea why it took me so long to appreciate this brewery. Everything I've tried from them over the last few months has been world-class. The design part of my brain wants to scream at the can art, but hell, even Pliny uses Comic Sans.

    Thanks, guys.....just had a phone interview for a new position - seemed to go well.....part of me wants to retire and say fuck it, but I need health insurance and not quite ready to totally hang things up.....yet....

    But, yeah....building boats would be way awesome!

    The wife and I did a meet & greet with ZZ Top a few years back for one of her birthdays. Even tho there was a line the band ask each group where were you from, what made you want to see them (DUH), and thanked you for coming, a real class act..... shit pic.....

    [​IMG] Following up my “Farm Hand” farmhouse ale from Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids, Mi. with a Holiday Ale from New Holland Brewing in you guessed it, Holland, Mi. My first time with this one. I usually don’t drink during the week but my job is really making it tough. Cheers

    ZZ Top is the band that changed my life. Frank Beard always seemed to play the second leads behind Billy. But, good ole Joe just had the bottom locked. He never got the credit. Also, I liked his vocals more than BFGs.

    ...Mrs. BeerGoot wanted a marinade for the flank steak, so, having tequila earlier (plus some old limes and cilantro), well, made a tequila, garlic, lime marinade...we'll see how that works out...seems to fit in with her trip to a Pueblo farm today plus the passing of Dusty Hill of Z.Z. Top today (I poured a bit of Hornito's Resposado to toast him)...

    Their beers, for the most part, are superb. And, depending on your location, readily accessible. The other bonus: typically fresh. I have nothing but love for Fat Head's.

    I love Mueller...used to do an annual 'Run With the Elk' thing back in the autumn days, but that damn artificial knee kind of hinders that...still an amazing park with incredible trails...
