Depends what type of getaway you’re looking for. I have kiddos under 7 so Chutters for a pound of candy, the covered bridge for running around and looking at the water, public pianos for playing on, then off to Lincoln to “hike,” the Flume Gorge.

All adults, but it would be family oriented still (my brother and parents).

Checked the Thayer Inn and they’re all booked. Any good spots to stay up there?

Depending how much you're looking to spend, the Omni Mount Washington Resort would be at the top of the list. 30 minutes to downtown Littleton, easy access to Franconia Notch, The Flume, Cannon Mtn Tramway, etc.

Also, don't skip Polly's Pancake Parlor for breakfast. Pro tip: call an hour ahead of time and get your name on the list.

    Thanks!

Holy crap, tickets are $90! Can’t tell if that includes the food.

Yikes, Omni is $889 a night. Wasn’t that expensive when I went for a wedding in 2019.

No availability within walking distance, how’s the Uber situation up there?

Did anybody see if there were DD tickets for the event? Would think there would be but didn’t see any.

We decided this was an event worth dumping the kids at nana and grampy’s for the night and stay over. Airbnb’s are significantly cheaper. Aside from the random trailers or shared bedrooms the range seems to be $95 and up a night. Something decent hopefully pop up in the next two months.

I booked a room at the Eastgate Inn, little under a mile from the brewery. Unfortunately, they only had rooms with 2 beds and I had to book 2 nights. Probably gonna take that Friday off and do some VT thangs earlier in the day, check in, and go bar-hopping.

Perplexed how I can get a room in Portsmouth(where I live and know the rates) for under $200 and see some $400+ in the Littleton area.

    Would be hard to argue

The bartender at Schilling yesterday said they sold about 400 tickets before cutting off online sales at noon on Saturday.

I just had another can of this. So good. Schilling seems to be on the roll these days. I was there less than a week ago and they have released three different beers since then. And a week before that another three.

Haha, I literally typed that same sentence but then erased it. Luckily, their lagers don't all taste the same.

Cracked my first 2021 Konstantin. So balanced and drinkable. Feels a tad drier than I remember but I’m digging it.
