Just arrived (via Uber, @vabeerguy ) at my happy place…starting with a Rinse & Repeat - El Dorado/Mosaic IPA:

Juicy and the Mosaic tropical notes work well with the El Dorado, no onion - yippee! Cheers from Mt. Pleasant SC!

Still preppin. Some pork loin, corn on the cob and green beans (not pictured). And a Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold. This is a really solid lager. Cheers!

Good Sunday afternoon! I just opened my first can of the Southern Hemisphere version of Rushing Duck's War Elephant, which is one of my favorite local DIPAs. This variant is brewed with Enigma, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin. All I can say is, WOW! I hope this becomes a summer staple. I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. Cheers!

Amber body, mildly cloudy; thick off-white head, sculpted, sticky and long lasting, spidery fingers of lacing circle the glass. Heady aroma full of dank resin and sweet citrus fruit. Nicely balanced taste; low-key malt sweetness heightened with a firm yet not overpowering hop bitterness; pine resin. Heavy body; sticky with residual sugars.

This is a fine dank and resinous west coast India pale ale.

Poured at 46 °F; no canning data found on the can.

Moving on to why I love Westbrook - my flight of barrel aged stouts has warmed sufficiently to enjoy…from top left clockwise - Rum BA Bearied Treasure, Maple BA 8th Anniversary Pecan Cookie Stout, BA 6th Anniversary Chocolate Hazelnut Stout and BBA Mexican Biscotti Cake Break:

I’m in tasting heaven…favorite? I’m partial to the newest release - Rum BA Bearied Treasure…the rum takes a backseat and the coconut is strong. I like coconut stouts and this is a chocolate/pinã colada on steroids. Imo, better than Prairie’s BA Pirate Noir. I’m going to try to talk the bartender into selling me a crowler to go - wish me luck - Cheers y’all!
