    Oh god Mikerphone? LMFAO!

Their beers look like someone rubbed crisco on the glass with their thumb.

ISLBS tastes like corn syrup and feels like melted cough drops. I've had it far too many times that at this point, whenever I see it at a share, I decline.

Having it side by side makes the contrast all the more stark how MD tastes both like actual beer and also real maple syrup.

Mikerphone doesn't know how to make beer, let alone good beer, let alone something that isn't an absolute monstrosity of a sugar bomb.

The last time I saw ISLBS at a share, they were still putting batch numbers on the front of the label

I've see them pop up because people don't want to drink them by themselves anymore. They then proceed to open it and the bottle is still full by the end of the night.

Another little rumor making the rounds. TG will be putting in hop fields in the land behind the brewery which is owned by Clark's family for a fresh hop beer kinda like Side Yard from Bells in the coming years.

This sounds FANTASTIC to me, really hoping this one is true.

Looks like the MD set dropped from $100 to $80

Excellent job toppling doing the right thing. People will still complain about a beer they had no plan on buying though.

Lots of people checking in KBBS, SR-71 and X last night at the MD dinner. Looks like that will be popular next year.

At $500 though, I'd still pass.

I’m sure the KBBS X SR71 were also costly too

MD tasting great this year. Lots of maple syrup with nice coffe finish that hangs on the palate. I had pick up at 11:30 on Friday and got there at 1100 for lunch. Turns out they had KBBS 1/6 barrel that they put on for the dinner on Thursday and left it on for Friday. My wife and I were excited to get a pour and MD pours were $5 a pop. They gave ticket holders the option to buy a third bottle so I assume there’s lots of MD in bottles. Fun day.

Yea they “had a better yield” than expected. I’m assuming not as big of a turnout of as expected give. This was the least busy I’ve seen an MD day except last year. Maybe still the pandemic.

Since we ate outside we weren’t allowed inside beers (according to the rude lady behind the bar despite seeing people eating around us go inside and grab beer)but nothing there I hadn’t had except all citra IPA. The MD float though was the best drink there

MD float? Like, were they pouring MD over ice cream?

Exactly that and it was glorious. I got the chocolate ice cream and the wife got their cappuccino ice cream.

was I think 7.50 for a scoop of ice cream and 4 oz pour of MD on top

We tried making a Guiness "float" in college and it was bad. I thought it'd be a big-boy version of the rootbeer float, but it wasn't.

Your version sounds pretty good, I'll say.

Hey there Advocates in Minnesota. I just found out that Toppling Goliath will have a tap wagon this weekend Friday thru Sunday Aug 13,14,15 at SEA SALT EATERY at Minnehaha Falls in S. MPLS. If you are not familiar with this seasonal restaurant you might want to be. It is outdoor dining. There are lines for food because it is incredible. I'll be there enjoying the TG chuckwagon full of beer. Cheers!

If Mikerphone was to read this and make a beer called Crisco Cough Drops, I would bring it to every share.

I know hope is a dangerous thing but allow me to dream.
