It’s excellent and yes, low ABV. I wouldn’t have hesitated to have it at my wedding if the people you know are into that kind of thing. Cheers and congratulations!

 

My review is the last one posted. I liked the beer but noted that it's heavy on the grapefruit flavor to me. I think that flavor can be divisive, but maybe not everyone will pick up on it.

 

Isn't Two Hearted the obvious choice here?

 

Normally yes, but it's 7%. I'd like something more sessionable, and don't really like the founders, All-Day IPA.

 

Have you considered Light Hearted? I think it's a notch or two above All-Day, as far as session IPAs go.

 

I did, but it kind of goes too far in the other direction at only 3.7%, which is less than macros. Really just looking for a hoppy beer that's around 5% or so.

 

Daisy Cutter? Tome? Pseudo Sue? Lizard King? All between 5 and 6 abv.

 

Well, yes. There’s quite a laundry list of beers that fit the bill. But, since this is a Bells thread and he’s obviously a fan of Bells, in addition to the fact that their kegs are available in a very wide footprint, Juicy Gossip or another Bells offering should accommodate him nicely. Cheers.

Sorry, that's now how I read it. He said no hoppy Bell's beer fit the bill, and he was considering going with a Lagunitas beer, so I thought he was open to a non Bell's option. Just trying to be helpful. Cheers.

Oooh definitely got my attention with BBA 35th and I'm all out of Black Note so great timing. Any followup to the previously mentioned double barrel Expo rumors or is that one out of the running for now?

 

Not happening. It was either Chocolate OR DB. Chocolate won, this year anyhow.
