I really, really wish that Lawson's would distribute this beer. It is a very tasty West Coast style IPA.

    Cheers!

Next to Double Sunshine, it is my favorite Lawson’s Beer.

Have you had Hopcelot? That’s my new favorite.

Thanks for the tip, I was not aware of that beer. I consulted the Lawson's beer finder and they list my local Retail Beer Distributor as having that beer. I will seek it out.

    Cheers!

I’ve had the chance to grab it but I didn’t. I’m sure I’d like it.

Hopcelot was the apparent stand-in for Chinooker'd while it was gone. Agreed, it is very good, but I still prefer Chinooker'd.

Jerry if only it was a few months ago :cold_sweat: we could've enjoyed a few together.

I was not really a fan of Hopcelot, despite its namesake . It was sort of muddled in flavor to me, I'm also pretty sensitive to noticing alcohol and I definitely got it from Hopcelot.

I do seem to be in the minority though based on your taste preference, what others like @skivtjerry have said, and the reviews I've come across on NBW.

Chinooker'd is a top three IPA for me and I really hope it returns to NJ soon.

I have noticed that some hops hide the alcohol while others push it on to the stage. It's maybe good to be reminded what you're drinking, but I also prefer that ethanol not be a major player (unless it's a barleywine or big Scotch ale).

Absolutely loved this one when the Mrs and I visited VT in 2020. One of the best IPAs I had on that trip, right there with Focal Banger. Maybe we will get lucky and it will show up in MA.

I guess my final verdict will wait until I can try/enjoy Chinooker'd again. Until then, I'll do alright surviving on SOS and Hopcelot, the latter preferred maybe mostly because of the lower abv, and I like to drink beer, usually more than one, so prefer the lower abv. I don't detect the alcohol in it that @jonphisher does...

Hopcelot is really delicious and refreshing. I just drank my last can today.
