It's never been overly crowded in the few times I've gone so far. Maybe 12 people max. Definitely a pretty relaxed space.

For sure on this. Usually pretty chill and only the bar usually ends up getting crowded other than the occasional waves on the weekends, though even then we have plenty of seating between indoor and outdoor.

In general the vibe has been more like a winery with people having 4oz pours and then grabbing bottles to go.

Happy to answer any other questions!

Thanks for the quick responses, @thewimperoo and @Thorpe429! We did stop by in the late afternoon and had a great time. Enjoyed the in-house variety enough to leave with 20-something bottles to tide us over a while, and I'll definitely be back. Afterthought is definitely in the rotation now for whenever we have an excuse to drive up to Chicago.

@Thorpe429 are you still planning on making lagers for the taproom? My wife, a non-sour beer drinker, is very much hoping this is still the plan. (Though she did enjoy your bottle selection)

Thats a longer-term possibility but won’t be more than at random times until we can find more brewing space as we don’t have room for any additional stainless vessels where we are. In the interim, we will make sure to always have lagers and a hoppy beer or two as guest options!

@Thorpe429 can you help me settle a debate? Is there a different between Wedding Table last year vs this year? Different barrel type? Thanks!

Big differences. Fruit ratio was changed this year and this year’s was not in a barrel at all in order to be ready in time for the rescheduled namesake wedding. Last year’s was in a Sauv Blanc barrel for a couple of months.

At standard meads for grace day and afterthought is pouring here and they have some smooth Saisons. Just nice crisp and refreshing with minimal tart

Thanks! Billy is there for the first two sessions and I’ll be there for the evening session.
