You probably saw my photo on FB. I’ve been up a few times this summer for the on-site experience; sometimes the limited stuff lasts, sometimes it doesn’t. When I was finishing up in the first group of the Wednesday session, there were still eight Anne Yellow Raspberries left. When I was in the first group of a Friday session, there was only one Le Sarrasin available. And sometimes I think they’ve added new offerings in the middle of the week, like I they did with Being and Time?

Thanks for the info, if you are on the enthusiasts FB page then yes. That group is very helpful and active. Heading up tomorrow and I think we have 12pm reservation so I assume we will be able to get any limited offerings.

    Cheers

What have the lines been like for takeout recently? Going to be in the area in two weeks, but will most likely have my daughter and in-laws along for the ride. Plan to order that morning online

I went a couple weeks ago and no line at all. Just walk in and grab your beer. If you feel like bringing some back to Jersey for people let me know!

How long do bottles normally last (i.e. Madness & Civilization, Civil Disobedience)? Have a friend heading up the week of the 21st and offered to get some bottles. Wondering if I would still have a chance at Madness & Civilization or even Nonconformist.

CD 32 has been available since June 25.
Nonconformist 01 has been available since July 17. Nonconformist 02 just released and quite different than 01, but also no limit versus 3 pp on 01.

As for Madness and Civ, it’s been a bit since there’s been one so that might drive the sale. As a comparative, Damon Dandelion, also at 2 bottles per person, lasted less than 3 weeks.

So very possible you’d have a chance at all 3 you mention given your timeframe.

I only had two people in front of me but they were buying many hundreds of dollars worth of stuff so it took about 15 minutes. Still more chill than it was there a couple years ago.

    Hey y’all.

Any idea of when Mary might be coming around again?

    Thank you.

Looks like If you bought in person you can only get store credit or donate to a traveling circus that hosts adults and children to learn the circus arts in a summer camp setting.

The charity they chose to highlight as the beneficiary for tickets here is certainly, uh... a choice. I'm hardly one to criticize any choices for a charity beneficiary, but that's quite a strange one for an org that is typically very thoughtful about where their funds go.

Is there one you specifically had in mind that they should donate to?

Local food banks. St Jude's Children Hospital. Wounded Warrior Foundation. Just to name a few....
*edit* to add my two cents. I know you were asking another person.

There is not. Again, I don't mean to sound over-critical of a designated charity, it just strikes me as a little strange given Hill's typical focus on social and economic justice initiatives. I get that there's a local connection, maybe Hill is friendly with the organizers somehow.

I get the sense that you think I shouldn't criticize this -- which is fine, we definitely don't have to discuss it any further.

With what has been going on the last several months I think one supporting women who have survived sexual assault/harassment would have been very appropriate

or at the very least if you’re not going to simply (maybe wrong word given the 1000 words outlining refund process) refund people, but instead suggest people can alternatively donate $$, then at least make it something broadly appealing/relevant

I don't know about you guys but if I wanted to make a mark on the world with my $110 there is simply no greater way to do that than making sure that rural Vermont children have access to the finest trapeze arts teachings on this Earth.
