We are staying in Waves, a small southern section of the OuterBanks (OBX), North Carolina near Hatteras. If you want a more tourist type area look at the northern beaches like Duck, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, etc. Be happy to share my over 30 years of experience visiting the area.
