A visit to the dentist this morning, two small cavities repaired.
I'm drinking this beer (successfully) and thinking of the scene in 10, where Dudley Moore tries to drink coffee after his visit to the dentist.

 

Hellooooo Advocates! Thank you beergoot for firin' up today's thread with that bigg butt for smokin'! More plant watering here as the drought continues. There's a 2500 acre forest fire in N Minnesota that less that 20 miles from my vacation property. I'm getting concerned... but there are no structures on it. Just my tent and 10 acres of North woods when I go up. Ufda. So, a can of Mind Haze IPA should calm me down a wee bit. Really good!

Bad Words - Modicum Brewing - Altoona, Wisconsin - 5.5% ABV.

I had to turn off talk radio on my day off work, because I was using too many bad words. This beer fits well to my mood today. Damn good offering from them, and I will be going back there in the future.

 

@SouthernSips was naughty, and sent me some blind beers. This has to be a hazy IPA, but what is it? Reveal later.

 

Is that one of those new milk tubes?

 

This heat makes for some funk. FW Union Jack IPA. I like it better than Mind Haze and as much as Luponic Distortion. Very delicious, pine and rather floral. Cheers!

 

@Resistance88 - I Love Mocha Machine! (and Hops of Brixton and Amalgamator, and just about everything else Beachwood does).

Sadly had to abort my early morning beer, as it was a casualty of being lost in my cellar (Belgian Pale Ale) nearly a half decade old, drain pour after a few sips. It's the second beer I've lost this year (broke a bottle earlier this year).

Thankfully I still have this relatively fresh (refrigerated since winter) alternative, one of my favorites in the style.

It’ the middle of August the perfect time for an Oktoberfest, this one if from Sierra Nevada canned on 07/22/21 nice brew.

 

I have no idea, to be honest.

The reveal of this beer, and I'm still WTF?!?!?

Dope Shake - 3 Sons Brewing - Milkshake IPA - 7.2% ABV.

I get a peppermint schnapps flavor here. WTF?

The notes I write here are from a blind review. I had no idea what this was when i wrote them.

Hazy and murky golden color. There's an insane amount of carbonation, and it took several attempts to completely pour this into the glass. The head is white, and good retention, and nice lacing.

I thought this was a NEIPA based on how it looks, however I'm getting vanilla on the nose. WTF? There's lactose in here as well. There's some citrus from hops, so I'm now guessing milkshake IPA.

Taste - Well, now I have no idea what's going on here. I'm tasting cinnamon in here? I get a ton of lactose. I am getting a ton of vanilla. I'm getting like a peppermint schnapps flavor in here. I am totally lost here. 3.75?

Feel: It seems full bodied. There's a slight burn. 3.75?

Overall: I'm lost here. I have no clue what I'm drinking here. This is a totally bizarre beer, and I have no clue how to rate it. 3.75?

Adroit Theory Ossuary Russian imperial stout

 

Awesome beer haul! Even the 'new' Rochefort.
Get some 'Piraat' when you see it. It is a Bière de Garde and the basic or 'mother' beer for some epic beers in Brugge. Comes in the same bottels like Duvel.
