Did it change locations sometime in the last 11 years? I thought I remembered it it being a stand alone building with some steps leading up to it and not a corner location. Also remember seeing the brewery setup behind the bar or maybe even beer served right from the tanks? Just checked the house brewed beer selection and they only have 2 of their own beers on draft where as when I was there last they had at least 6-8. Am I crazy or am I thinking of a different brewery and if not, what’s going on with this place?

not Bluejacket - Cap City is at 11th and H(?) - been there forever and a day - they also used to have a place near Union station but that closed years ago that sounds like what you are describing

I only know of their downtown location on H St. Haven't been there in a while, but it's been there for as long as i've lived here (since 2012 or so).

Mediocre beer and food, imo. but i can understand why someone might be nostalgic for that type of experience.

Capitol City is still located at their original NY Avenue location. They no longer brew their beers there, and only serve an amber ale and a kolsch, which is decent.

Yeah, that's the one in the Post Office Building across from Union Station. Long gone.

Capitol City - Union Station is now home to the Smithsonian Postal Museum. Who needs to drink beer when you can look at a 200-year old stamp?
